Finally got to listen to the album. Done and 最高に下品なアタシ are probably my most favorite amongst new tracks. They remind me so much of old stage tracks. What a pleasant surprise.

 

I want to like Done, but it's soooooooooooo badly mixed I just can't listen to it.

The girls' voices are basically fighting against the instrumental, which sounds muffled as if it's coming from another room. Who approved this?

 

I feel the exact same way about the song... I listen to all kinds of stuff and am very open minded in this regard, but Done is just so HARD to listen to! It's funny because when I heard the first radio rip, which was horrendous quality obviously, I did like it and was excited for the high quality version, and the high quality version ended up being... almost the same lol. The other day it came on shuffle and for the second before I recognized the song I thought my headphones got broken or sth, it was such a difference with whatever the previous song was (and that's just the intro with just the strings, how can you fuck that up!!). In the end, the song actually almost sounds better in live performances because there they crank the vocal volume up so there's at least some dynamics and life...

Anyway I'm enjoying Enjoy Bureikou at least, a bit repetitive but still fairly modern sounding, the MV is very pleasant to look at too! The Kojirin song is decent as well (though it would benefit from a better singer kek).

Oricon says it sold around 139,000 copies in it's 1st week
Which is 20k decrease from the previous album, released before covid.

It's also quite the same drop from their latest single
Maybe there are a few reasons to be optimistic about the next NMB48 single, since usually albums don't sell as well as singles (price and few novelties play a lot).

NMB13 has 1 selling trick with the RH voting codes
NMB48 keeps struggling with mobilizing / expanding their fans

The World Music Awards account seems to be having some problems today with tweeting about NMB13 - here's the first attempt:

Anyway, congratulations to the group in coming 4th in the chart!

 

They are a made-up thing and god knows whose nephew is running that account.

 

The different teams in NMB performed "Done" at the theater!
Sadly the video quality is not very good and the lighting makes it a bit difficult to know who is who...
But this is still worth watching to see the different versions, and the girls all did great!

Team N version - Mikana center
wow Mikana performed so well here, she's really the best to center this *-* She's so cool
Especially at 2:12, I loved that moment!! and I have to praise my girl Sakatan ^^ She's just great!!

Team M version - Chihhii center
This gives a slightly different feeling, maybe because of the outfits. They performed it so well!!
Btw you're a real fan if you can recognize all the members with this quality/lighting (note: I can )

Team BII version - Wakanyan center
This is the team with 7th/8th gen so a lot of these girls are still quite new (joined around 1 year ago)
I think they did a good job!! I kinda want to see a Yayoi center version of the song

9th generation KKS version - Reipon center
These girls joined very recently, like in the beginning of the year, and wow they perform really well :O
The center here is Reipon, which is funny, I find her alike to Wakanyan and they both centered this lol.

These performances are so good Mikana is doing so well as the center! I'm glad they made her center and gave her a song that is suitable for her style (she always looks great in dark clothes/make-up lol). Also my girl Michapii (Sakata Misaki) is doing so well in her first senbatsu! She looks so good in all-white. I really want her to be center once Here's a short video with her moments in one of the Done performance. I hope she can get more fans during this promo (she's still new). She's doing great
