I have had this song on repeat for about a week.

I just cannot stop listening to it!!!

Prefer the dance only PV to the drama version. The two combined had me really confused and it just didn't work... but the dance PV has me :cute:

And Sayanee's solo vocals are astounding!! As if I didn't love her enough before this, it's just blown her through the roof for me. :inlove:

I'm really liking this song more than I thought I would. I find the techno-dance beat mixed with some traditional Japanese elements interesting and pretty cool. Instead of being reminded of UZA or Dear J, actually the first thing that came to mind was MM's "Wagamama Ki..." instead. Must be the dance formation parts aside from the aggressive moves.

Also it's really refreshing to hear Sayanee's voice figure prominently in this song. I'm not sure but isn't this the most she's been featured vocally so far in any A-side NMB single? I really like her voice and hope she gets more chances to showcase her singing talent in the future.

^ that's just a negi which is green onion.
I think this was explained earlier in the thread but kamonegikkusu is a shortened/combined word for the sentence "kamo ga negu wo shottekuru" which roughly translates to "a duck carrying a green onion on its back is coming" or something like that (sorry i'm terrible at translating japanese to english properly).
It's some japanese proverb which i forgot the meaning to (i asked my mother about it but i forgot what she told me haha)

    ^ I know, that's why the smiley. :)
I read Smilodon's explanation earlier in the thread about the proverb with the duck and green onion. I think it's just Aki-P doing some wordplay for kicks heh.

^ Awesome first shot of Sayanee there. Plus I really like Mirukii's hairstyle!

Coincidentally, I noticed a comment on JPopAsia that said Kamone was quite unpopular with the wota. Is this actually true? I'd try to find out, but I've got very little idea of how to search for 2ch comments or whatever (plus my Japanese isn't good enough to understand most of them anyway).

Relatively. It got better over time but songs that tend to be more experimental in terms of idol music tend to have mixed reaction. I think watching it performed and live helps the song though. Those dance songs are very visual so just listening to it I feel like only conveys a fraction of its coolness.

    It's about 435k after that 56k push.

48 Group releases don't usually spike for no reason. I assume it was a massively late shipment of theatre editions for some recent handshake event.
