I already did an excited squeal over twitter but wow, such great news. I'm wondering if they'd be able to sell out all the seats, but I'm excited regardless. I hope we get a live stream for one of these concerts, that would be amazing.

I hope this happens. I've failed on all my predictions so far but I'm predicting the Kyocera concert will be announced at Budokan.

    http://www.kyoceradome-osaka.jp/schedule/?yearId=2015&monthId=3

March 7-8 and March 20-21 (both weekends) are open as of now. Come oooooooon Kyocera.

I don't really want to get my hopes up for Kyocera (even though it would be so amazing) because I feel like they're saving it for NMB's 5th Anniversary. I mean, even though Nana is graduating, I don't know if management would feel like it's "worth" (for lack of a better word) getting Kyocera for that. They might just get more dates for Osaka Jo Hall. I hope I'm wrong though.

But wow, this tour is going to be pretty big. (Although it's kind of unfortunate for fans that all of the scheduled dates so far are on weekdays.)

They can't get Kyocera for 5th Anniversary because the baseball season ends in October. November, yes, October not likely.

They won't extend on Jo Hall for Nana's grad since that would look dumb seeing that they just finished there. I'm hoping they'll want to do it in Osaka and realistically, the only venue on the level of Jo Hall would be Kyocera, Koshien or some soccer stadiums.

Wait, that's crazy. Kyocera is booked every day in October, even on weekdays? (I don't know if baseball season & games & stadiums are similar to America.)

Personally, I don't think it would "look dumb" to return to Jo Hall seeing as it is such a major venue. However, because they also announced dates for Budoukan, I guess we should hope for something even better for the finale concert? (Although I shall remain kind of pessimistic for now because I don't want my hope to be shattered if not, lol sounds so dark.)

They don't need to go with a dome yet I think. I think adding a location like Yokohama Arena or SSA would be plenty really, if they are gonna extend it (which in all likelihood will happen).

I'm hyped for the new tour anyways. It's interesting how this past SekaChu tour began in Tokyo and ended in Osaka with the 4th anniversary whereas this tour will begin in Osaka and then branch out. Kinda fits with the snippet from a Yahoo article that talked about needing to raise the scale in their constantly changing environment.

Either way, great news. Keeps members motivated!

Nana graduating not in Osaka doesn't feel right. If they're not going Kyocera they should at least go to Kobe World Memorial Hall for the additional show.

I love Budokan as a concert venue so I'm definitely looking forward to that one.

And I don't think it would be that awkward to rebook Osaka Jo Hall later on, as long at they bill it as the Nana grad concert. But then again, Koshien would be amazing if they could make it happen.

They can't book it because they don't know what the Buffaloes' schedule will be because of baseball rules (home field advantage, series length, etc) and considering the massive logistics involved in a concert of that size, planning needs to know months before WHEN it will happen which cannot be with the uncertainty.

So I'm guessing Osaka's home team is pretty good and they have a good chance of making it to the (world series-esque) finals/championships? Or is it not tournament style-ish? (lol, sorry, I really don't know anything about Japanese baseball - and I kind of want to know because I like baseball - and it'll be my last question due to the topic not really relating to the thread)

Anywho, I'm hoping that there will will be lots of shuffle units. (And kind of hoping for a sister group song medley. NMB-styled Melon Juice, haha?)

It's pretty much like American baseball playoffs, except instead of AL/NL you have Pacific League and Central League.

The Hanshin Tigers (who play at Koshien Stadium) lost in the finals this year. I don't know much about J-baseball so I don't know who's coming back, etc.

The Orix Buffaloes (who play at Kyocera Dome) also finished 2nd in their League so yeah, I guess both teams are good? Either way, I'd imagine it's difficult to book.

I know in LA, when they have the Grammys here, all 3 teams (LA Kings, LA Clippers, LA Lakers) play like a week of road games known as the Grammy trip.

If you are interested in Japanese baseball, the NPB site actually has an English section.

Basically, unless the Buffaloes REALLY suck and they are mathematically eliminated around early August, NMB can't reserve Kyocera for October since the Buffaloes might need it for the playoffs. That's pretty much it. Its their stadium so they get first dibs on it.

Kobe World Memorial Hall would be great. There's always smaller venues as well, but management seems to be building up to larger and larger venues so I'm hoping there is a sizable venue for a Nana graduation concert if there is one. I think they'll aim for arena-sized venues such as Yoyogi, Yokohama Arena and Gaishi Hall before they move onto a dome.

Kyocera would be a pipe dream but heck, I'd be happy for Osaka Jo or even Budokan. Now if you can just have one date on a weekend, pretty please.

Yaaah, never thought I'd be able to post with grad school kicking my butt. Looking forward to next year!
