The follow up episode was kind of a letdown. The one thing I was looking forward to was the Ookami ni Kuchibue wo perf, but I didn't like the fact that it seemed to have focused more on the MCs with their reactions rather than the members performing themselves.

Looking forward to next week's episode instead. Looks like the newly minted adults of the group got to have some fun. That karaoke scene looked chaotic, lmao!

 

Well, these cut footage serve it's purpose, airing the fun but less hilarious part of the SP recording.

2nd battle should be better next year end. If there's any.

This second part was actually pretty good, but I was waiting to see Akanen go all out "gachi" style. Maybe they're a bit more timid in front of their senpais.

 

Man, habu tower is tall. The second tallest is Saitou Chiharu but I think she's still alittle away.

Also, Sayunyan patting Koike's back is the best thing ever. 2 girls that evoke the feeling of fluffy from me in the same scene.

 

When they are playing the box game at the end what order are the names written they don't seem to match and i cant read knaji

@YuNcHuNsA i never felt much competition going on this time for some reason. also, in addition to the girls not saying much if they weren't called on, the hosts sometimes stand in front of them which wasn't helping

It seems that name list actually doesn't match the spots the girls really chose in the end. You can see their positions in the video, right? It's:

And they should do a joint show with nogizaka and keyakizaka it was fun seeing them together.

as a fan of the 46 clan, i feel that is was a great victory for Nogizaka

Keyaki was not on home ground so speak. Pretty sure tsucchi did more speaking than the rest of them combine (which is understanable). The hilight would be Berika's revolution being the loudest thing she can say.

Although keyaki won all the events, most of the cameratime was spent on nogi. Especially with Sayuringo's mistakes. Plus all their reactions (sayuri's faces for messing up word association, wada maaya's quiz answers, higuchi hina jumping and curling into a ball after snapping the tape measure) were over the top and variety quality. although it was their show to begin with, they had alot of quality shots.

Keyaki may have won the matches, but the Nogizaka did dominate the show.

related note, the last scene was great. Misa's somewhat erotic pose, yamazaki hiding in her box, and Saitou Yuuri's voice when she asked for help to get out. I wish i could tell em how cute they are.

of course nogi was the main focus. it's koji chu after all. if in the future nogi visit keyakake, i'm sure the opposite will happen.

above all for me it was a little bit weak nogi-keya interaction as i hope on such variety show. how akb-ske-nmb-hkt interact in akbingo was much more fluid..

 

This '96 batch is full of oddballs.

Lots of quotable quotes from Ikuchan. And it was really funny how Kiichan went from calling Ikuchan "Ikuta-san" during lunch to shouting "ERIKA SAIKOU!" during karaoke. Kiichan/Ikuchan combi is something I didn't expect, but they're such a perfect foil for each other. It even gets better when they're on the same level of high tension.

Such a good episode. So many small funny things.

 

I had a slight nigehaji depression when i heard koi during the karaoke session. Kiichan seems to know the dance well.
