Oh yeah, I get that the general feeling of the segment is like someone’s being pranked, cuz the voice recognition is just so messed up.

I dont like the "Engrishuu" segment, the app judged incorrect and everyone was like they were good at it but in fact they dont.
like we could see Maiyan and Matsumura went to Hawaii and had a hard time to understand/have a very simple conversation.

I know learning English for Japanese is hard (for us Japanese the same) but having all people dont know English playing pronunciation game and laughing about English even they dont know what is right or wrong, is not fun. But have someone have better English skills there to judge, not the app, would be better if have someone like Yuri or Rei to be there to judge? or someone from staffs?

 

Well this is a variety show, it's just for fun, not for educational like Nogi eigo. And it's not meant to gauge their english level. They can always utilize Nogi eigo for such purpose.
And they laughed preciously because they don't know english well, so it sounds funny to them because it's so different than Japanese language.

 

It's already 3 - 0 i hope the back row team could make a comeback and never forget hoshino's curry and rice ahahahah

 

They need to use Siri if they're going to do that segment.

I remember watching a bunch of YouTube videos where a Johnny's boy would go around and ask Japanese celebrities to say English words like that. They used Apple/Siri and it was always accurate and fair.

Looks like they're locking down streams, so it wasn't until 20 minutes after the show ended did I get to see it via the YouTube posts. Those'll be gone by Tuesday! I wonder if no more streaming is the new normal?

 

Yeah, I was looking for streaming last night too to no avail. I finally found another streaming from another website but youtube streaming is still the best.

 

I was wondering why no streams were live at my usual times. I almost thought the episode was canceled for some reason. I was relieved that wasn’t the case. Hori’s facial expressions had me dying. And all I can say after watching this episode is GIVE HIGUCHI A PHOTOBOOK ALREADY!!!
