Since it was announced tonight, the first day of their 2021 Tokyo Dome concert, we might as well start a thread...

Nogizaka46 has decided to hold their 10th year Birthday Live on May 14 and 15, 2022 in Nissan Stadium in Yokohama Japan.

May 2022 is still a whiles away and many things can happen until then.

Himura's 50th birthday will be on May 14 as well.

 

Yeah, it is still quite a while . which could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on situation. Japan currently has one of the toughest restrictions when it come to international borders due to Covid. although it is loosening for business travellers and students, it could be still some miles off in terms of international tourism. if the feared 6th wave doesn't come or isn't as bad as expected , then we could be looking at a reopening of tourism borders by May, and maybe even they can go full capacity at the stadium.
so fingers crossed . let's hope for the best

this morning the PM announced that due to the emergence of Omicron variant, they'll stop accepting foreigners into the country(or rather continue).
looks like the borders could remain closed for a while if things do not improve

But for the 10th BDL, I really want to hear fans cheering on their favorite idols. Hopefully, they'll be fine by then?

 

I just read the news that Japan already has 1 case of the Omicron variant. I guess they'll still pursue Ikuchan's grad con but with no audience.

And for the 10th BDL, still can't draw any conclusion. It's quite far yet but hopefully, the new variant won't trigger a surge.
The least I can say is that they may allow "few" audience and chants would still be prohibited.

 

Omicron case was an import case from Namibia. arrived at Tokyo on Sunday and detected positive, after selected genome sequencing, was confirmed to be Omicron.
but even though Japan's cases are low at the moment, you can't dismiss possibility of hidden cases . Ikuchan's concert highly likely to go ahead as planned since domestically the so-called 'restrictions'/guidelines are being loosened gradually.
The Japan govt probably will go for cautious approach , so I guess even the 10th birthday live could be a muted affair and will ask for masks to be worn. Japanese ppl are very compliant and cautious, so probably could be the case.

 

The line up (list of songs) of the concert, can you find it somewhere online?

I just hope if they decide to sing any of solo songs from the graduates member, they should give it to their singer. I want Runa take Miona's solo song.

 

Any idea when they’re gonna start lottery for live tickets?

 

no idea, i think maybe 1st or 2nd week of April after one of the kojichus

What's the difference between buying the first bundle ticket vs buying day 1 and day 2 tickets separately? Would there be any tax difference?
