All songs has been revealed. And here is my temporary ranking:
Synchronicity = Erika Misa Reika > Yoda Momo Kubo Zukki > 1st gen > Under > 3rd gen > 2nd gen

 

How many copies do you think this single will sell on its first day and first week? My prediction is around 800k or less on first day, and 900k - 920k on its first week.

 

Not sure... my prediction would be around 700k on first day...

 

Do they (Sony) really care about the sales anyway? I mean they let the top 2 members absent for a very long time already.~

 

They care, but not as ambitious as, err.. AKS. As long as Nogi reach million sales no matter how long it will take per single.

Both Maiyan and Naachan not doing individual HS, that cause National HS more crowded.

By not doing IHS Maiyan and Naachan can expand their solo activities, solo CM, drama, those things also bring extra money and group relevancy. Not so much loose. They also dont make member overworked. Win win solutions.

Management seem very calculating already.

 

yea but as a fans i wish i could met them in IHS once a time . tbh i dont really like national HS coz is tiring af , even you can combine all the tickets at the end of the event , its too tiring after queuing for whole a day if u also count the mini live event at the start i think its almost 10 hours until the combining ticket event.

i know them since i moved to japan around 2015 , and finally had start my HS experiences from 16th single , and its kinda sad it was both of them last IHS single. i've went to 16-17-18 national handshake and tbh i'm to tired to queuing more at their lane , IIRC even at the 17th single national handshake in around june last year , it was a rainy day on the summer and the line was too long even just for entering the venue , also in the day before nogi had national HS , it was the day when k46 had flare accident on hirate lane , so yeah , we got more extra security to enter the venue which make take more time for queuing.

idk maybe i sound egoistically , i know maybe win win solution for the mgmt and the girls about the IHS things , but as a fan i really wish they will have another IHS before their graduation coming

would predict around 750k-770k for 1st day i think , agreed with @kanjo said for this amazing track i really expect good sales .

so far my top 3 was 1.Synchronicity+Against and then iku-rei-misa unit coming next. idk i just love the vibes against give , anisong vibe maybe ? lol . it will be good insert song for gundam series in my wild imagination rofl

I'm so late on this but I really loooveee Synchronicity PV. At first I was expecting some other scenes but after watching it for the 2nd time, I really love the whole feel of the full dance PV. And Maiyan is so graceful as center. I think this is the first time in a while that the center is really emphasized in the dance formation (the last time was probably Nandome no aozoraka) and it makes me really happy for Maiyan. The rest of the songs are good too from the first listen though I will wait for the better quality to judge. This is really going to be my most favorite Nogi's single.

 

not to be dramatic but it sounds exactly like their last two singles

I couldn't disagree more. Sure, Nogizaka has developed a distinctive and recognizable sound over the years but please listen closely to Synchronicity, and you'll hear many things that set it apart from its predecessors.

 

the last 3 songs all have different pace , and i dont know where it will come they releasing same song over and over . even they try to bring something new summer vibes in nigemizu ( even tbh nigemizu was not really my cup of tea )

also i rather they stick to their 'identity' rather than exploring and keep releasing same shit different garbage like their .. 公式ライバル

It's definitely different but I would put Synchronicity in the same category as Nigemizu and Itsuka and even older singles like Ima hanashitai...... Mid-tempo ballads(?). Synchronicity is far superior than any of them, though. I'd love Nogi to release something like seifuku or influencer

 

but like...it will be boring if they just keep with their "identity" releasing similar songs...i mean keyaki has their identity but they still manage to release different kinds of sounds...but i feel like nogi are just releasing the same kind of sound

the song is definitely not bad its great actually but if they keep like that it may be...boring?

 

if your point nogi's genre is boring , well afaik their single is well received enough both for international or japanesse fans. even they usually bring ballad songs for the a side for recent years

ima hanashitai , harujion , sayonara no imi , nigemizu , itsuka , synchronicity . in my POV all of them was different.

imho , if they was only bring same things and kinda boring in recent years their popularity will not increasing but declining , which in reality they're keep rising

Synchronicity was nogi's 20th single ,

assuming from your point that nogi keep releasing same things like the last 2 single and sometimes in the future people will get boring . i'll give some of my thoughts ,

first , was the ballad theme nogi usually bring really make people sick and boring ? lets count from last 10 A Side from N46

Nandome no Aozora ka - Inochi wa Utsukushii - Taiyou Knock - Ima Hanashita Dareka ga Iru - Harujion ga Sakukoro - Hadashi de Summer - Sayonara no Imi - Influencer - Nigemizu - Itsu kara Dekiru Kyou kara Dekiru - Synchronicity

bold one was probably same as which you've classified as boring type songs , and statistic show they already release 7 ballad songs from the last 10 A-Side , take a note for the last 2 years they only have 2 more uptempo songs in Hadashi de Summer which was a summer song and Influencer . and for the last 2 years , base on Oricon Week Sales data for every 1st week from release in wikipedia , they only drop a sales twice a time at Hadashi de Summer and Natsu no Free&Easy , and Hadashi de Summer also was not kind the same genre that you've mention about .

counting they first 3 A-Side was less popular among the fans at that time and its still pretty generic idol song for some audience , they allready bring ballad songs on the 5th single on Kimi no Na wa Kibou , continued by catchy summer vibe songs on Girls Rule , and at the end of 2013 we'll got Baretta which i cant describe as catchy song nor ballad song , but on spring 2014 , marked as the 8th single , they release once again ballad songs Kidzuitara Kataomoi , and continue their tradition to release catchy summer song on Natsu no Free&Easy .

if you're really into the group , or at least wants to pay attention about them , i'm sure you've known , even from the last 15 A-Side , you have 9 Ballad Songs , it was more than a half or you can write it 75% on percentage and its already begin from Spring 2013 which was 5 years ago , and people still praising how they grow as group.

also take a note , base on Best Song Ranking poll they do this year , you'll got 5 Ballad type songs in Top 10 , 2 in Top 3 , and the best 2 was ballad song which is Sayonara no Imi come first and Kikkake being the second

well at least , base on the data i've got , even from their 1st single until 19th single , they only drop weekly sales two times at Hadashi de Summer and Natsu no Free&Easy , but as Total Sales , they ONLY DROP ONCE at Natsu no Free&Easy since their 1st singles GuruGuru Curtain . which it shows , 6 years have passed , they're keep growing , and boring word still far far away from Nogizaka46 . dont put them on same league with their 'rival'

Management will know the time when they need to try different things. In the beginning of the group they kinda try a bit of different style but it is not as well received as their style now so they are sticking now to where they are succeeding and try to change it when it's time just like when they start.
