Single Nogizaka46 22nd [Kaerimichi wa Toomawari Shitaku Naru] (2018/11/14)

There should be a hazard sign at the start of nanase's solo mv saying: "Caution: Box of Tissues Required"
The flashbacks within the mv got me aswell... Makes you realise how integral nanase's existence is to the group, and what we will be losing next year. As for the song, its a standard tear-jerking solo sung by nanase. Nothing else I can add. It speaks for itself.

I really like caravan aswell. Its a bog-standard nogizaka song, but one engraved within it a set of lyrics and melody symbolising hope for the future. Caravan also illustrates why i like nogizaka. It manages to blend typical idol-ish songs with a sense of maturity lacking in other idol songs.

After some endless looping of everything released so far, I can safely say I like all of the songs. All of them worthy of a place on my daily playlist. If I had to name my favourite so far, it would be nichijou because its just that good.

Only one more to go!

 

While I like Naimononedari better (the song, that is), but this video really doesn't disappoint and is much better than Naimononedari's MV (btw, is that the same location as Nanamin's video?). Nanase looks so gorgeous, the video is so touching. (Who's the lucky guy, anyway?). It's a fitting farewell to one of the godesses of Nogizaka. Sayonara, Nanase... farewell.

Edit: Caravan is great, too... this single seems to be shaping up nicely. Yet another great release.

Another edit: I still can't believe how much Nanase has grown... look at how she looked like when first introduced... she seemed so fragile and not really sure of herself. Now she's matured as a gorgeous woman that still looks kind-hearted and soft-spoken, but with an iron will and tenacity to match.

 

They got the calendar right, Nov 14, 2028 is a Tuesday but it is a bit blurry what was written on Nov 22-24

 

this single has come to be like Influencer to me. very pleased with the variety and quality of all the songs. not one is below par

 

Nanase 1000% waifu material
By the way, I was so engrossed with the MV that when it ended I was like what so short?!?!

 

I’ve been so busy this recent weeks , probably so late to give some comments for the coupling tracks.

i kinda love almost all the coupling songs.

Nichijou , classic under-member qt. tbh for the last 3 under songs in 2018 is very decent imo.

Atarashii Sekai > Nichijou > Sankaku no Akichi.

but i would give all of it 8++ Rating

Caravan ha Nemuranai.

superb mv , top qt songs. the melody is easily reach me even after the first time i listen to it. once again B-Side. with such a young senbatsu concept its a very great result. and obviously i love all the 2018’s B-Side Release , very hard to decide it but i think ill go Against > Sora no Tobira = Caravan , with a very tiny little gap ofc.

same goes with above under member song explanation from me , all rating was superb.

Tsudzuku..

well , great MV with all of the nostalgic footage as ive post before this.

it wouldn’t be fair for me rating a naachan song , but its simply 9.9/10 for me.

0.1 is just... i dont think its the best graduation song ever made (with all the 48-46 obviously since we only had 3)

but still im kinda ok with this grad song.

im not biggest fan of this tracks , while im not saying i hate it but it still havent grow yet on me.

feels like Scout Man or TokitokiMekimeki from Synchronicity or Chikyu ga Marui Nara from jikochu.

it just not very special to me.

i cant speak too much because maybe im just little too biased with it.

Nogi come with very strong A-Side in whole 2018 IMO.

Kaerimichi > Synchronicity > Jikochuu

no intention to discrediting the previous single , but probably for me it just too good because of naachan lol

 

I'm late but I just want to say I thoroughly enjoyed 'Kaerimichi wa...' and absolutely love the MV. Sad to see Nanase go but I'm sure Nogizaka46 will continue to prosper

 

I know I've said it before, but Kaerimichi has really grown on me. I feel compelled to listen to it at least once a day. Not as catchy as Jikochuu, but it has brief and subtle hooks that are on par with Synchronicity. I wish the instrumental—in particular the electronic components—were more pronounced. But I get it, it's idol pop after all. In my opinion, Tsudzuku could've used a cello in the arrangement. I'm not disappointed, though. It's her distinct voice that really carries the song. The MV is beautiful—sort of the happier/less lonely conclusion to Gomen ne Zutto… I'm sure glad they had the one shot of the note for Papa, otherwise she'd really look like a single mom!

 

Watching it and all through the MV I was thinking about the lucky guy she married, but they never showed him... then I thought the dude left her for the regular, normal, artist Nanase from Kaerimichi! He was tired of the idol Nanase.

 

There's also a number of drawings on the wall that had both mommy and daddy, so it's safe to say he's still around. However, if your wife is Nanase, how in the world are you not home yet??

In Kaerimichi MV, I wonder where Nanase-the artist put her light stick at 4:22
they're using just the normal Nogi LS and not the kobetsu LSs

 

I must not be as big a wota as I thought. I did not know there was a difference in the types of light sticks. Care to explain?

Shiritai koto is pretty good too, it has a kind of mysterious feeling in it. Now that all the songs have been revealed, I can rank my favorite.
