Single Nogizaka46 30th [Suki toiu no wa Rock daze!] (2022/08/31)

Summer songs are always sound so weak to me, so hope for something fresh and unique. I think they might add some 5th gen popular members at this point, but I prefer 3rd or 4th gen member to be center.

 

It goes without saying that I hope for really good songs on this single. From the main to unders, from 5th Gen to unit songs, I hope they all make for repeated listenings. Looking for something like Romance no Start, Dekopin, or Kassouro.

As far as senbatsu, I saw someone suggest Kuboshita W-center, and I didn't think I would want that until I really want that. It would be nice. I hope for a 17 members leaving 15 for unders. No 5th Gen for now. Rei and Ayame out. Rika-chan and Yumiki in. Reno-chan for Seira.

I hope it's a well-known center for their milestone single, Mizuki or Kaki would be nice.

Nogizaka usually doesn't release singles in August, so far the only August singles were Nigemizu and Jikochuu, both summer singles, so I think there is a kinda high possibility that this single is also a summer one. That said, Asuka center would make sense.

But if it's for real a summer one, I really expect that it sounds more like Girls' Rule than Jikochuu. I miss high-pitched, catchy choruses.

 

I expect the 5th gen's song the most

^Maybe it's in the translation of the tweet, but I read it as newly selected selection as opposed to the old selection in the 29th single. I believe we're all expecting another member to have her first selection.

BTW, when was the last time they actually did an in studio selection announcement. Synchronicity?

 

^Yes, maybe that is the correct way to say it. Member with the first senbatsu entry.

From episode list, I think it was Synchro. And, it is impossible to make a full episode for Senbatsu announcement because of covid, especially on tvtokyo with its super strict regulation on covid prevention.

Oh no my oshi Seira is out. Was hoping on a miracle she could be healthy enough to make it. Happy that Naochan made it because she deserves it. Also, Mecha Yanchan is a pleasant surprise.

I approve this senbatsu. Probably first time I have no complain about senbatsu placement. Finally Rentan fukujin. Kakki center is well justified.
No 5ki is fine for me. I'd love them to have another 5ki song though and a better one than Zetsubou.
