Back with another speech translation for Ogiyuka~ ^_^ This time it's at the NGT48 Sousenkyo Arigatou stage, which apparently happened on 6/20 but I didn't know about it until today xD anyways, here you go~!

First off, when I received first rank in the preliminary announcement, I was half happy, half scared.
I thought, "I wonder if I broke the sousenkyo?"
Even so, it was everyone's love that gave it to me, and it was a chance, so I thought I couldn't think that way and became someone who could really look forward.

But still, I was really scared of all the reactions around me during the period of the sousenkyo, and I was really conscious of it.
I think that everyone was even more worried about me than me.
Certainly, if the nameless me got such a rank, anyone would doubt it, saying things like "why is it Ogino?" or "who is Ogino?"
And I think all of the AKBG fans and members thought that.

And yet... it was truthfully voted from everyone's love, so when people said that it was really frustrating and painful.
Nevertheless, until the end, the people who supported me during the voting period were always giving me their love, and I became super positive and strong.

To be honest I was scared. I was really scared.
But, because everyone cheered me on, I was able to keep working hard.

The day of the sousenkyo, the time my name was called for fifth place, I was really surprised and amazed, but I was honestly really happy.
Whatever the people around me say, I want to firmly receive everyone's love.

And, I think it was also people other than AKB fans, and people in general, who asked "why is it Ogino?" or "who is Ogino?" I think most people have thought that.
So I want to become an existence that shows those people why, and even if it takes time, I hope to become a person that lets them say "I understand why she ranked fifth place."

And, I'll do my best so my fans can say "I'm proud she's my oshimen."

Also, not just the members who ranked, but the members who couldn't rank... I believe they're very frustrated right now.
Last year, I was really frustrated.
So, I really understand their feelings.
I'll bundle up all of their feelings, and in the senbatsu spot I've received, I'll do my best to become a person fitting of fifth place while carrying their emotions with me.

I think this period was painful not just for me, but for everyone as well, and it must have been difficult.
But first, please praise yourself by saying "I voted!" Thank you so much!

This is the start line. Even if I've entered senbatsu, it's still the start line. The start.

From handshake sales of AKB48 49th single which Ogiyuka has sold 25 of 29 slots on latest round, possibly sell them all on next round, it's probably Ogiyuka's best achievement on handshake sales.

From this & her achievement on sousenkyo, I think Ogiyuka is being Nadeshiko Japan (Japan women national football team). Before 2011, Nadeshiko Japan weren't a top team. In 2011, they won women world cup which is one of biggest surprises in history. Their success continues, in 2015 women world cup, they reached final but lost to USA, still an impressive achievement. The youth teams have good record 2. Some of them won tournaments if I'm not mistaken. This achievement makes many Japanese young girls aspiring to be footballers.

If Ogiyuka continues her success, Ogiyuka would be idol version of Nadeshiko Japan.

Will there be kouhaku voting again this year? Let's see if she can reach at least top 48. Kouhaku voting can have bigger surprises than sousenkyo. Last year, Akarin & Lemon made surprise by reaching senbatsu, Juri failed to rank.

Will Ogiyuka be senbatsu of AKB48 50th single? Or maybe AKS will pick Rika instead as usual?

As a quick question, which other 48/46 groups girls are signed to this agency? I can only think of Tomochin... and previously Chiyuu...?

Edit: A quick Google tells me Ranran, Suuchan and Myao as well as Harukyan are signed with them.

since the agency is so big and it has so many stars it's hard to get priority within it, but oh well, still better than no agency.

so members aren't signed to Sony, it's just a record label of NGT.
