And so, in the same spirit as last year, it turns out that Ogiyuka went out of her way to write by hand a big stack of letters with a message of gratitude to her fans, even on the occasion of today's Rank-In Concert. During the final send-off part of the concert, she then proceed to personally hand them out in an envelope to each and every fan who attended the event. Also, carefully packaged inside of the envelope there wasn't only the letter, but also a small photocard depicting her during a performance of Sekai wa~, too. Continuing from last year, the handwritten messages also vary from letter to letter, making sure that none of them are the same. Here's but a handful of examples I could find over Twitter.


I find it heartwarming to see that, for Ogiyuka, this practice is already turning into an annual tradition.

Looks like Ogiyuka was in extremely high demand for a photo-op among the other idols who performed at TIF today. As a little note, judging from Momo's post, the two of them appear to know each other already and have even been hanging out in private in the past. Interesting to note that Raku says she had been liking Ogiyuka ever since her Draft days. On the other hand, Miu confessess that what motivated her to enter the audition for Up Up Girls in the first place was Ogiyuka's speech at last year's Sousenkyo, concluding with a "I owe it to Ogiyuka for being who I am today"

And I am keeping this tweet for last because it deserves a special mention. Going by the text inside, Marika is telling how they finally managed to meet again after their high school days, and besides this, she thanked Ogiyuka for having supported her in her efforts to become an idol and said that she is proud of the fact they aimed to achieve the same dream together. Does it mean they have been friends since such a long time ago? Even Ogiyuka, on her part, says in her reply that it has been a while, so some further research into the matter is needed...

Edit: Updated with even more tweets from the idols who didn't get around to posting their commemorative photo until the day after. And as an added bonus, there's also this other interesting anecdote describing how the photo shootings took place, as told by a fan of some of the aforementioned groups. Girls definitely went crazy girls for Ogiyuka:

"According to a story I heard from some certain member, today, at the catering area inside the waiting room, all the idols who were eager to take a photo together with Ogiyuka queued up into a long line, up to the point that the place started looking like the venue of some "premium fan event". It shocks me that all those idols actually know who she/NGT is and that they actively went to take pics with her plus some of them actually look up to her and watch her on TV I'm shook lol

I somewhat feel that these sort of 2-shots serves promote NGT48 to newer fans, and 48G fans to notice idols outside the 48G. I know other NGT48/48G members did it too but as 'intensive' and as 'extensive' as Ogiyuka.

Just how do you buy them?

 

I've used Takara Japan's services to buy LINE stickers exclusive to Japan. Even though some set might not be listed in their FB album, they're usually able to respond to any requests as long as the set it still available in Japan.

No. I bought them all by myself. How to do is:

1. You need to reset Line. Delete Line then reinstall it or just go to setting -> application -> Line -> clear data. Yeah, you'll lose all of your Line data,
2. Log in again, do not register your phone number, link to your Facebook account instead.
3. To access Japanese Line store, you need VPN. Some VPN apps: Hola, OpenVPN (if you're using this, I'd recommend you to download its plugin called EasyOVPN so you can use it easier), TigerVPN, Tunnelbear, etc.
4. You need Line coins to buy any Line item. You can buy this as usual as you can buy anything on Appstore if you're using iPhone or PlayStore if you're using Android.
