Today she was doing Jabaja promotion all day (and night) long! Appearing on KoreNani (Takamina radio show), and then going to several music stores on Akiba and Shibuya, direct selling on Tower Records Shibuya (all of these with Yukirin and Juri), then Nico live (with Yuiri, Komi, Miion) and now ANN (with Miion, Rika, and Mirurun).

@MindOfALibra although she might get potentially a bit less votes from her older wotas (before Jabaja), but the net effect is probably positive as in she gain more votes from new fans or dd and hako oshi. The ideal thing of course is to center the voting single instead of this one since it wouldn't cost any potential votes. From the reports that I've seen, actually some (a lot?) of Naachan fans actually can't buy HS tix for Naachan as much compared to the previous single so obviously there will be more people coming to her Jabaja HS (she sold out really fast for this single relative to her past HS). In that sense, it might be that her fans actually can spend a bit less for this single not because they can't spend more but because there is nothing to buy anymore. That was before they added the Osaka date tho...

 

About the next center: who has been given two solo centers is a row? The last to have consecutive solo centers was Mayuyu, but the second was given by the fans, not by management. My guess based on history is that it is not going to happen.

Naachan ranked 22 on AKB center test. Not bad, considering that she was probably not have the time to really study for it and from what I see, most of the members that are potentially as busy or busier than her (thus probably not studying for the test) are senior members (Yukirin, Yuihan, Sasshi, Annin, Miichan). It is possible that there are those that didn't study and not her senior managed to rank higher since I definitely don't follow all of them, but for the members that I do follow, they were all studying for it (like Miion, Saho, Seichan).

As for centering the next single, personally I don't mind about it as long as they created a cool song for it. Of course I don't mind a non cool song as long as it has the potential to be really popular, but since we are talking about centering 2 times in a row, I feel like it will need to be a song that when people hear and see it, they will say that it is a Naachan song, a song that fits her image. Hopefully if it is a song that really fits Naachan image then there'll be a strong case on why they choose Naachan.
Centering a single 2 times in a row is technically impossible the last couple of years because of the graduation. After Love Trip, there is no way a member could center twice in a row. LT (SSK/Sasshi) - HT (Paruru grad single) - Shoot Sign (Kojiharu grad single) - NnM - Sukinanda (SSK/Saashi) - Anklet (Mayuyu grad single). This time tho, since the next one will not be a grad single, the possibility is there.

She told that when they were filming for Jabaja, she went to an onsen and Yuiri + Naachan were already there being lovey dovey (lovey dovey part is just her imagination btw). Naachan have told about it tho, being in an onsen with Yuiri and Mikurin, but now we know that YuuNaa were there alone first then Mikurin came in XD

AKB48 appearance on next week MSte have been confirmed and they will perform Jabaja. They don't have MSte this week and next week MSte will be a 2hr special with graduation theme.

 

On the Nagoya HS event she centered Sakura no Ki ni Narou and Jabaja. I want to see Naachan singing Sakura no Ki ni Narou on a stage... some report said that it was great.

It seemed that NaaSaho lane was fun. They are actually complementing each other very well because both have a very different HS style.

After that she was going straight to Hiroshima for STU stage on March 19. Hopefully we will get some pictures from that stage.

As for TV stuff
The interview was nice at the end of the STU concert broadcast.
Jabaja performance on AKB48Show is very nice. A must watch. Also Kurayami behind the scene, especially if you're a STU fan, is also very nice.


And talking about 52nd single...
In case you missed the news, they will announce 52nd single senbatsu next Monday (March 19).
You might feel that it is a bit too fast for another single, but the actual problem is that the WIP event made them can't promote the song after the WIP event ended. Normally at least in February we already know about the song. Shoot Sign and KwM were promoted earlier than Jabaja, but their release date is actually similar to Jabaja release date. Although I'm grateful at the management for this center opportunity, but at the same time I feel that it is not fair towards Naachan. They basically sacrificed Jabaja promotion time for WIP. We will know 52nd center before they performed Jabaja on MSte! FYI, they performed both Shoot Sign and KwM before the single being released.
If management is really serious in pushing Naachan, I believe they should make her center for the 52nd single. Actually I don't have a strong feeling towards making Naachan the 52nd single, but the short promotion time for Jabaja pushes me to it (Naachan for 52nd single). It will be unfair to other member but management focusing on WIP is not fair to members that don't want/have the physicality for it (because I don't think anyone entered AKB dreaming of becoming a wrestler). Of course it doesn't have to be a solo center. Double center should be fine.
Having said that, I don't think she will center it, thus I really really hope that management give a front row position for her if management is serious in pushing her as an ace. After on interviews talking about the new AKB, pulling AKB, then imagine if management put her back somewhere where she is not in a position to do it. If AKB actually consider her as the face of AKB, they need to put her in the posititon to be the face of AKB.
They can push her in other way like giving a solo single for her or make her as the main for a new AKB project (drama or something), but I'm not really sure that will happen in near future. Sure she had been picked as the main for Renacchi SSK, but I have a feeling that Naachan was chosen simply to have big name on it. She has the talent but there is no other senbatsu member on it. Some members were not chosen due to schedule and I don't remember the last time an ace picked for AKB only stage play which is logical since normally an ace would be busy doing media stuff instead of being tied up to a stage play. I can imagine they didn't pick Yuiyui because they don't want her push to be disrupted with the stage play. But hey, maybe they will hype this stage play big enough to attract a lot of media attention, enough to be covered on TV... who knows?
March 19 is close and hopefully my post at that time will be a happy one

tl;dr I dont want management to kill her momentum. Actually management can just release her solocon to keep her momentum, although since we are nearing SSK, I hope they can simply broadcast her solocon instead of having fans to buy it. Or include some voting single in the disc
