Since you can use HS tix from 3 previous HS event that she missed, her lane was really crowded and on the 3rd day they had to limit the use of transfer tix (if someone can't use all of their Naachan transfer HS tix, they will inform you later on what to do with it which is probably another transfer). http://akb.kingrecords.co.jp/info/002836.html
Hopefully she can have a rest on Monday because she was practically non stop doing HS. Even with the HS tix limit in place, I believe she still barely get any break.

Sometimes I really think this girl is pushing herself too hard. A few of my friends went for the 3-day HS this week and they described the queue was "sayanee-like", basically insanely long. Her 2nd slot on the 2nd day got delayed for >30mins, and instead of finishing by 7th slot (8PM) on the 3rd day she finished around 9:30PM. That's like if she had an extra slot on that day. And the Majime part of her made her stood the entire day. That's ~10hrs of standing per day for 3 days straight:eek:
I really really appreciate her efforts and how thoughtful she is towards her fans, but girl! take care of yourself first!:wall:

Couldn't agree more. Somebody said on twitter she bought 29 tickets just so she could force Naachan to sit down during her turn

What time does a HS event start? I get she finished at 9:30 but it would be interesting to see how long she was there for.

I have to stand all day at work too as I work in retail and we don't have chairs, so I get how exhausting it is to stand all day. I hope she takes hot foot baths as they really help release the pressure you get on your feet from standing for a whole day.

she usually starts at 2nd slot (10:30AM) but on the day when she finished at 9:30PM she actually started at 1st slot (9AM)

There's a break in 3th slot (12.00-13.30) though, but I don't know if delay from 1st & 2nd slot eat into that break.

She had breaks, but relatively short. Normally in between slots they have at least 1 empty slots so the member could rest (they split a day into 8 1hr30min slots and a member can only get 6 slots/day) and a mandatory break at 18:00 to 18:30 (between 6th and 7th slot). The problem is that there were too many transfers, thus her HS keep overflowing to the next slot.

Naachan from the 48G singing contest

    https://twitter.com/torostu/status/1068844776756174848?s=21

To be honest, after one of the greatest singers of the entire 48G dare I say, sang it, everyone else who sings it feels lackluster to me :// That includes Naachan to a certain extend. Don’t get me wrong, she did great but compared to Masuda Yuka, it doesn’t take professional ears to hear the difference.

i'm more touched going back to the memories when naachan was younger, amateur and didn't know much but consuming all power well before the song was over, she really improved a lot. for this performance, i expected better, say 90+, and she did like 85, it's ok but can be better.

She was a little nervous at first but got herself together very soon after. I think anyone who've watched her solo concert would agree, yes she can do better but she probably didn't have a lot of time to practice b/c of her insane senbatsu schedule. Also, for someone who just went through a vocal cord surgery not too long ago, I'm very proud of how well she did here. Can't wait for the final round and I'm sure she will do even better with a full live band

This is why I personally don't want her to join this singing contest. There are several reasons
-big pressure on her because before the competition even started they already labeled her as the best singer
-people tend to judge singing based on technicality

The pressure might prevented her from producing her best performance. The song choice definitely didn't help which I'm not really convinced that song was her first choice. But the biggest annoyance with the song is not the difficulty of the song but because people will compare it to Masuda Yuka and automatically judge it to be not good enough because Yuka did it better.
If you look at the songs for the other top 15, Naachan's song probably has the highest difficulty. This is not a song that you can pull of perfectly without practicing unless you already sing it countless of times. Naachan probably focused on delivering the song's message and putting a lot of soul into her singing which is what Naachan good at and this is reflected in the judges comments. She sing like the song is her own. With probably a very limited practice time, I think it is good that she focused on delivering the message instead of trying to produce a technically better performance. Of course I'm hoping for both but practice time is a luxury for her.
Basically Naachan and Yuka is a different type of singer. Even if Naachan practiced more I don't think she would produce a performance similar to Yuka and she doesn't have to. But this is a contest and it is easier for people to judge a performance based on technicality which is back to my first line where I don't want her to join this contest because I know I would be annoyed by people idea that a good singer is someone with high notes or someone that can do difficult runs or other technical vocal acrobatic stuff but those people almost never mentioned about soul. Of course it is hard to quantify a soul but at the same time it is probably the most important aspect of an artist if you want to have a chance in the real world.

    more thought on this
    [hide]
Of course it won't stop people comparing her performance with Yuka's performance (which I'm fine with) and anti will be coming out and say that it is rigged, exactly like what I thought it would be if Naachan decided to join the contest.

anyway, when I say focused on delivering the message probably I should show an example of the opposite (someone that focused on delivering a perfect vocal performance)
Someone in the contest thread commenting about they hated ASH, but the thing is that when I hear Okumoto Hinano's performance my immediate thought is that she has received singing lessons. It doesn't mean that other singers don't receive lessons but I need something other than someone cleanly hitting the notes to differentiate her in the sea of singers which I think it is one of the judges consideration when they scored them.

^ I know where you are coming from. But I think you should let her do the things she wants to do. Opportunities don't come often as one wishes. Last you want as a fan is she feeling regretful for not giving it a go

Otherwise, buy a wad of tickets and make her sit down too

And I just find this suspicious lol.
    • Nov 5 -- Singing No.1 Project announced, winner prize still concealed.
    • Nov 8 -- Naachan seitansai, she wanted to solo debut.
    • Some days later -- Prize announced as solo debut
I am not saying that it is rigged -- but it looks like like this is designed to give opportunity to Naachan, a lot.

Naachan has on previous occasions already stated the she would love a solo song/debut. This isn't the prize because she wished for it at her seitansai.
You should think about this logically: There is a singing competition with one winner. What would be the most logical prize be? Centering a song where your voice is lost among 19 others? No the only logical prize is a solo song.
