Omori Maho (Mahopyon)

I remembered the picture from before and checked Maho's apperances on AKBingo. They talked about her going to the handshakes of several members in ep. 542 (Sasshi's farewell Bucchake Baseball special).

I was thinking that she probably already talked about this, I mean it's a picture with Yuiyui! and indeed she did talk about it before and I remember that Maho's oshimen was Komiharu Btw the subs are right, it really just looks like pictures of two idols haha. Maho was such a cute fan

 

Omori Maho is among AKB48 fans who became idols themselves.

 

On Maho's Wiki page there's the following info:

I recognise the background as being from the 2-shot events for 'Thumbnail' which happened in the early part of 2017 and according to her Wiki page she joined the group in January 2018 so it wasn't very long after those photos were taken when she became an AKB48 member. It's great that she went from being a fan to a group member so quickly!

 

generally speaking, i think it would be weird if someone wanted to be in akb and wasn't an akb fan.

 

Mahopyon is now in the top 50 of most followed 48G members on Twitter!
There are almost 300 members in total (who have Twitter), so this is good for her!

It appears the First Episode of Maho-pyon's show with Hiroyuki is out on youtube.

The premise appears to be that the character Squid-kun, is looking for a house to live in. He shows them around the various different dwellings and they give their thoughts. It's Maho-pyon's debut at hosting a show if I understand what she said correctly.
