I checked the list of the 40 rumoured members, and everyone was silent on social media at the same time (except Yukirin). I'm really starting to believe the 40-member rumour is true.

goto moe is a pretty damn good performer. i'm looking forward to watching her on the show

also hoping p48 introduces viewers to some 48G songs. there are so many catchy singles, especially from ske's side. viewers need to be exposed to some of those classics

also, the korean kojimako fans are already getting into it:

Idk if its true or not but I heard from some k-netz that Hongki went to Japan for P48-related recording

UPDATE: Apparently Kahi (P101's dance mentor) also made surprise appearence too. OMG I can't imagine it if the rumor that Kaeun joins P48 is true... she will be crying for sure (she was crying when she saw nuest last year)

 

Hope Twice make a cameo too. They’re the definition of a girl group that is killing it globally, plus many of the 48 girls are fans of them so it would be cool to see them interact along with Twice J-line holding conversations with the AKB girls

Wonder when they’ll announce the host of the show. They keep holding out on that info for some reason. Must be a huge surprise

 

With his Japanese Hong Ki seems the only one who can joke around Japanese contestant and make the show more entertaining, or does it any other Korean speak Japanese on the show?

Of course not compete but have a guest cameo to show support similar to how these previous winners of produce series are doing. It would be cool to see cameos of not just kpop stars but also AKB legends to show the other side, especially for a lot of these girls who look up to say tomomi, oshima, kojiharu, paruru

Your idea would hold more weight if the AKB side was mostly kenkyuusei/draftees/new gens but Yukirin and Jurina are already in the show and can be considered members of the AKB legends pantheon already. Heck Jurina has more A-side Center experience than anyone else in the franchise, 23 (18 SKE, 5 AKB) to Acchan’s 22 as well as the most A-side senbatsu appearances in general. Yukirin’s been around forever as part of the Kami 7, ranking higher than the girls you mentioned besides Yuko and even Myao is rumoured to be joining.

That aside I would love to see Sasshi or for graduated members, Takamina/Yuko/Kojiharu/Mayuyu as cameos (Paruru wasn’t important enough to be considered on the same level)
