Manaka just done SR from a hotel with Yasuda Kana - indeed someone asked why they are not in the theatre today (Yukirin stage) and they were like "umm yeah well..." - seems like they aren't performing tomorrow either but they are announced for Friday's one.

I think we can officially consider PD48 the first step towards conquering the Korean market, though I still think is a two-way path.

 

Seems like a Korean fan was shrewd enough to recognize Renacchi through her flu mask and gave her some makeshift small gifts. Hope there’s a good job for them during their stay in Korea.

 

Sounds about right since Nakko’s the one with the most lines despite not being part of the vocal line, but imo i think they gave the wrong parts to Gyuri aka parts that fit high-pitched voice (same parts that was sung by Romsae, whose voice is also high-pitched)

The more i look into Kaeun, the more i am reminded of Haein in IS. Her not making the final rank wasn’t something “unfortunate” a la JR, but more of a “you won’t fit the concept so we snubbing you” a la IS Haein. Till this day i can’t imagine Haein and Natty doing fromis_9’s songs, and i’m betting i’ll have the same feeling with Kaeun once IZ*ONE releases a song

 

According to Satone, she's busy with a Nemousu TV project until the 4th. Presumably that's why the other girls are in Korea too. She and Erii are staying in the same hotel room, and did a short instagram live together yesterday.

Maybe have an 'ex-PD48 Korean members' general thread in the Idol Emporium section? I'm sure there are many people (myself included) who followed the series and would like to know how the unsuccessful K-trainees are continuing their careers.

I don't think BananaCulture would give her this exposure if they do not intend make her debut.

@STS As for closing this thread. It would be a shame. I, for one, have no time to follow every single PD48 trainee and here is where I keep myself informed about them. Putting this is another section would be okay, though.

 

I have no problems with keeping this thread here. I mean we end up talking about the sakamichi groups in several of the akb general discussion threads anyway.

I don't see why this thread would need to closed or be moved. There are dozens of old threads here that still get occasionally revived (granted nowhere near as often as this one), and I don't remember them getting locked. And it is still a News & Release thread, even if it's Old News.
