I could say the same for you lol I've always been a contrarian at heart but being serious, I grew up with them around the fringes being JA, then actually became a fan myself pretty late. Tbh the key was finding a wife that enjoyed the things I didn't mind people knowing about (racing, firearms, motorsport, wrenching), as well as the things I did. She loved MM we got into 48G together. We sit across from the table at dinner sometimes and I mention it, and she just rolls her eyes now... but I really did hit the life jackpot with her. Now I don't give two shits who cares if I like idols or not.
That's really nice to hear! I feel the same way about my husband, he unabashedly loves and likes things, which in turn has influenced to not care so much about what other's think. And uh...to be on topic, my quick fact is I met my husband in League of Legends.
