I'm surprised that there's no thread about her, so here we go ^^ [align=center] [/align] So, who is she? Rie fu was born on January 11, 1985 in Tokyo and is a Japanese singer-songwriter. I discovered her by listening one of the Bleach's ending song (Life is like a boat). She has a very beautiful voice and often sing both in english and japanese. She can sing a lot a different type of song (mainly pop inspired ones), calm or more punchy (don't know if this word exist ^^; ) ones. I would say her music is more similar to our occidental pop, that the usual j-music songs (for the main part). I just love her. She's so great. The new album is experimentel which is a good thing. After two albums of mostly same-styled stuff Tobira Album was boring. But with Urban romantic she's back and I can't wait for her to release a new single!

I actually saw her live earlier this month, in Japan. But only saw her because it was a various artists concert (I came to see Fukui Mai and alan). I must admit that she has a nice voice - but none of her songs seemed to grap my attention and she didn't seem to connect well with the audience either compared to the other artists.
