Feels like keyaki? Even with that lyrics & uniform.
Not so much close up IMO, but since they're only 9, and 9 is a good numbers for idols group, eventually they can have better chances to appear longer. But my mind only able to recognize about 6 instead of 9 lol. Seems there is uneven appearance in this mv.

anyway 6 days have passed and the views is still not even surpassed 1 mio? This is kinda concerning..... how much the sales will be?

 

The keyaki vibes are strong with this one and I like it.
Song is a grower for me, but I love the mv

Momomi is indeed center material. If her expressions are already good now, imagine when 4ki become veterans.

 

Keyaki redux. Also revived may be the old criticism of Aki-P for giving models of dangerous or anti-social behaviour, like smashing a science lab, jumping fully clothed into a pool, or throwing oneself down from a high place and imagining that a few friends beneath can save you. I don't care. The MV worked. Now let's see how YouTube views go.

"Shindafuri" as a word has a great sound. And the idea of giving up a life in which you are acting dead is a strong concept. Somewhat similiar to the concept behind Silent Majority.

Takahiro posts that he did the choreo and, working with them, his eyes were opened to their possibilities as he saw them face the task head-on.

 

No offense to Takahiro sensei but I hope his eyes didn't open too much. Shindafuri choreo is already fast paced and complicated as they come and it's only the first of this gen lol

Well, the good girls were the 3rd gen with their Natsu no Chikamichi. Guess who the bad girls are...

What we saw is an Ambivalent 7 years in the future...

I like it. I enjoyed it. I consumed it and I just want more. This gen will turn us crazy...

 

Rougher, rawer, grittier.

How's a song named and themed regarding death as the first song for a new gen? Shindafuri lyrics is all Keyaki. The costumes resembles Ambivalent, with red (the color of passion) in ribbons and socks, and the number 4. Choreo: Slightly slower paced, more time spent on member's faces. 4ki not as polished as expected in the MV, but I'm sure the raw materials are there. Momomi did a good job, I wished she had a stronger gaze, I'm sure that will improve in time for herself and the other 4gens. Melody-wise, Natsu No Chikamichi is a better song, and well-fitted to the 3kis as a group. That's where the comparisons end.

Is the Sakurazaka ship setting a new course? Or better yet, gradually correcting the course back to its roots?

 

Will the new air make saku sail higher?
This year, we get so many updates and material, but it still feels "empty".

Nevertheless, I wish:
- we have ten or mao danso on youtube outside the studio just like kakki haruka did before.
- some join performance with akb or nogi or hinata, just like they used to be, even release a single together.
- tenrin appears on netflix project
- sakurazaka on street, outside the studio, doing like street performances or something like campus visit just like what nogizaka has done. it really creates a bit buzz.
- sokosaku episodes overseas or japan region travel. If I remember, in the golden era of nogi, the member can travel to hokkaido for one day, and the other member will go to kyoto for one day, etc.
- some teamwork build up variety show like house of keyaki

of course all the above doesn't rake money, but it's a good PR thing, I think. What they have done this whole years is just raking up money except award show.

 

One thing making me smile and watch positively the future is the difference between MV and the Showcase.
The improvement between the making of MV and what they shown on Stage is impressive.
Still on the raw quality here and there, but amazing none the less.

I would be very happy if they keep giving 4kis this Keyaki-sh songs and I could watch each one of them grow with it, also, this is already creating expectations for the next song and the path they'll follow, which is a good thing.

Like @Jsprite said, Natsu no Chikamichi was a better song, and well fitted for 3kis. In my opinion they also were better on their first MV... but 4kis are bulldozzing their road in Sakura history, in a very Keyaki way, and I love it so much! lol

 

Meguri results are out, and while we wait for the translated version, I'd like to say that S&F really milked Buddies too much to expect 4kis selling as much as the hype around them promised.

Ui and Konomi both sold out their slots and Chihiro is close behind at 10/12
The others are pretty low with Hiiro at 0/12... unexpected for me. I didn't expect Wako to be that low either..

I'd wait for buddies to have money to spend to judge 4kis popularity though

I expected Neo to be even lower so I'm okay with the result, we will walk up this Sakura hill together little by little

 

Early meguri for 4kis is...too early. I'll wait for a few SokoSaku episodes to get a better feel about each member.

 

M&G 4th Round Results

• Honestly I'm not that surprised with this result, I just expected Haru to be a little higher. I'm not worried about them, there is still SokoSaku introduction and the rest of the blogs that will surely help to boost the numbers despite buddies probably being kinda short in money at the moment.

 

I wonder who and how much was boosted after First Showcase haha.

 

interesting. It doesn't mean anything TBH, but perhaps international fans taste and japanese fans (Wibu) is just that different. I still believe momomi and wako will eventually sells theirs.

 

Ui result was understable. I think everyone was surprised as I am when she started to performing with that big smile on her face, It 's really amazing sight. Konomi is the unexpected one. I remember she didn't make a buzz in early day but look how girl doin, sold out-ing everything lol.

But I also believe this result means nothing, we need 2 more single to decide this and that. I also hope there will be no Nagisa case again

 

I just noticed there's no Konnagi in the Mobame list. Did something happened while I was away?

 

About nagisa, I also wonder what happened to her fans? IMO, her dance is one of the one that attracted me in 3ki. But she is gradually becomes the 3ki version of hikarin onuma marino trio.

The question is why do fans not choose her for Meet & Greet. She seems so pleasant and attractive that I have the feeling there is something I am not aware of. Is she just too talkative, and not enjoyable in person? Or is there some event or characteristic that we have not heard of?

 

100% sure that Chihiro was the most boosted after the showcase. I didn´t saw many penlights with her colors during the show, however her presentation was the most memorable: she showed a combo of nice tricks and cuteness and the interest on her increased as a result.

Ui and Konomi were already popular among the fandom thx to the documentary. And in Konomi´s case, a tweet praising her beauty went viral (30k+ likes).
