Oh yeah, I see. One thing I remember is Tamori and Matsuko Deluxe walking around outside the whole show without getting in the venue (I guess that was recorded beforehand) but I don't remember if that was a Kouhaku or another show. In another one Sasshi was with Bananaman but she couldn't talk much (because of Bananaman) ... Anyway, Sasshi hosting Kouhaku would be the icing on the cake of another great year for her and her fans.
Btw, I wonder if there will be Kouhaku SSK this year too ...

Interesting Takeyama's comment about how TV show producers tend to use MCs on variety show (and actors on dramas) as scapegoats in case the program don't go well. And Sasshi's got various jobs as MC (even when she appears on Ame Talk she never sits on hinadan). I'm not up-to-date of how many shows she's been appeared (I just watch them randomly) but I guess it's a bit early to ask for Sasshi's retrospective of 2017.

as can be seen above, her degree of recognition is on a par with some really big fishes, Takeyama's words could probably apply to her as well. at least to some degree. but I hope she is already beyond that level. at least it doesn't look like producers ever tried to blame her for her failed works like Buuko or Aruaru Bansankai (she was still used as MC in Aruaru's successor despite poor ratings in golden time slot!).

Moreover Sasshi was the only one among all "AKB Group" (I wonder if it included 46 too) to rank in Top100. Some idol fans tend to consider their oshimen as god, one in a bazillion years etc, but reality is harsh out there.

it was interesting to know more details about AKS salary. I think it was the first time, when salary system was disclosed so clearly. in the past Sasshi said that the member's salary depends on the years of service, but according to this new information, it is recalculated depending on the sales of goods, HS and SSK rank as well.
