golden shows air in golden timeslot. it's similar to prime time. in Japan golden time is from 19:00 till 22:00 and prime time is from 19:00 till 23:00. I guess, golden is a bit superior since it's more condensed in the most viewed time.

as for Sasshi's golden shows... she definitely has the most appearances in golden time (and overall on TV) out of all 4648g members, not sure about the rest of showbiz. there definitely are male celebrities who appear in golden shows more than her. as for female celebs... Sasshi might be a good candidate for the top. there might be girls who appear more than her as guests, but there are probably none who is MC in a number of golden shows like Sasshi.

Whoa.. Sasshi’s eyes are that bad? I had a friend who had awful near sightedness and couldn’t qualify for a LASIK surgery but was offered ICL. She didn’t take the surgery because she was scared of the procedure lol

 

her eyesight probably isn't that bad, I think the main reason for surgery was that the usual contact lenses were inconvenient for her (and glasses are out of the question). that's what she wrote:

"(after the ICL surgery) my eyes stopped being dry and an awful blood congestion disappeared. I wonder if it's because I no longer wear contact lenses?"

I guess, with her busy and hectic schedule (long HS events, show recordings, and active concerts, when she can't rearrange lenses), contact lenses were often more in the way than helped.
the good part in all this is that she probably intends to stay in the showbiz for a long time, if the comfort in a long run outweighted the risks of operation.

firstly happy cause she get the new one show, but now pretty sad cause she''ll lost the old one.
my new hobby from now outside my busy time is search anything about 48 group as much as i can, much of my acquaintances who like 48 group know much about most of members. but unfortunately, sasshi is one of the member who all of them hate the most (but i like her the most cause she's really different and unique than any idol i know, especially when i see/know her idol activities). So, pretty sad about that and maybe only this thread who help me so much about it.

I was afraid about the efficacy of the treatment since it sounded to be very new, but so I found out that it has been researched for almost 20 years. And everything suggests that this method is better than the laser because while the first is an implant, the modification made by the latter is permanent, if anything goes wrong.

Great show, as the last time! Sasshi acted very natural and spontaneous, interacting with Nakai and the guests. But then, it was revealed that Sasshi wasn't truly interested in the talk?? "Business" interest?

I feel morally* guilty too, for I watched only two episodes at most.
(*) for we (international fans) add nothing in the show rating.

You don't need to be sad maman. As fatrain said,

There were lots of arguments from the haters against Sasshi through the years, since because they found her 'ugly', not fitting an orthodox idol, to the fact that she 'got rid of the scandal'. But in the end, it's because they think she's guilty for standing between their oshimen and the success they "deserve".

More recently I noticed people annoyed because she kept running in SSK. You can bet most of the complainers were fans of girls willing to take 1st place or of those girls who wanted to enter Kami-7. Other argument they had was that Sasshi's winning in SSK so many times was meaningless because it was "predictable", but we all know that it was never for granted, and each winning was very important to her and to us.

The good part is that, generally speaking, I sense that her hating has been diminishing recently because, like her or not, they recognize how skillful she is in various areas. (Sure, there will always be some that can't move on.)

Even though, their opinions must be respected, and so should they respect yours.

Be proud to be a Sasshi fan!

It was held in 2012. Unfortunately I don't follow much Sasshi interacting with other idol groups, so maybe someone else can give you appropriate information about this concert.

yeah, Sasshi was great in Nakai no Mado. there is even a tread on 5ch about it)) reception on twitter was good as well. looks like fans of that "2.5 dimension prince" were thankful to her for drawing attention away from him when he was troubled by romance questions and for support when he was introduced.
Sasshi not interested in acting is nothing new her only passion is idols after all))

don't worry, Japanese fans actually don't add anything to ratings as well, since only few selected households participate in rating measurement))

@maman ah I thought about that to at first around 2015 maybe. But I also realize that idol have a great length of definition and relative measurement for each person. Some thinks they have to be good at sing and dance, some thinks it's okay as long as you're pretty or cute, some thinks they have to be pure , some thinks they have to behave well enough for the fans expectation, etc etc. So from this objective you can clearly see why there are people who love Sasshi or hate her. Because she didn't meet their own idol standard or expectation, but it's different for sasshi fans. For me personally, she's beyond my expectation..I love to idolizing strong chara, and not just strong you actually can see her journey to become who she is now and be part of it. I love how she do things by herself rather than waiting for things to happen, or how good she is at talking and improvise her talking ability. You literally can take something from how she live her life, that she was never born in AKB as the most strongest, prettiest, cutest, etc. But she actually do something to change it, it makes me want to change my life to be a better person too..and that is good enough for me to call her "The Idol "
But it will be different for other people right? Maybe other people isn't looking for something like that and that's why there are different opinion regarding each idol. The best thing we can do is understand and respect the diversity

@Humbucker i'm glad, even though i see sasshi haters really strong. But at least if her haters really reducing in japan, i really glad.

Watch your and @Humbucker replies really remind me and make me sure more about what is idol for me. The person who can make you happy and inspire you to be better than before. Of course to inspire someone, you must be strong against barrier name haters cause sometime you do something unexpected but some person didn't like it. For me you can love your idol cause he/she is expert at singing, dancing, and looks cute/cool (interesting) but you can't imply idol is person who expert at singing, dancing, and looks cute/cool (but yeah, it's all about personal opinion). So all of you're right, i must be proud to be sasshi fanand respect to the other idol and other fans.

i really can't wait for the new song for =love. Hope she got interesting inspiration.

 

I too, agree with everything @Kudostar said. What I feel about Sasshi is a bit hard to explain ... admiration, of course, but it's funny that I can somehow feel 'happy' every time I see her on TV show, press conference or when I get any news of hers. Something none of other members can do it for me.
Anyway, at least you don't need to be sad or ashamed if you like Sasshi and your friends don't. =)
