she was 86th (66,895 CDs) in 2017 (even though it was lyric writer ranking, but it's the same in Sasshi's case) and I predicted the jump to 20-25th place, but Sasshi went even beyond that!

guys, looks like we found ourselves another Sousenkyo!
our next target is 9th place (~400k votes CDs). =LOVE will have to release 3 singles in 2019 for that to happen.
then 4th place (~600k CDs). it is attainable with 4 singles in 2020.
and then... 1st in 2021! I guess the only possibility for it to happen is if Yasusu finally retires and Sasshi becomes his successor.

Yoshida Go mentioned an interview from a time when Rikachan was showing some signs of becoming a sociopath (don't giving a f*** to anything), tho. lol
The big difference between those two, at least for me, is that Rikachan can provide me excitement, but only Sasshi can really make me feel happy (whenever it is, either seeing her in a TV show, watching her singing and dancing in a concert or simply getting news from her). No one can ever come close to Sasshi to me.

Turns out that the single itself will be a Sasshi's send-off, which will also include her graduation song. Honestly, I didn't expect it coming from AKB48's side management -- giving her due recognition -- after trying to overshadow her many times in the past like ignoring her 2013's victory in their documentary (pretty much when I stopped watching AKB's documentaries) among other things. I think I'm finally in peace with them.

as for the song and MV... it looks like they filmed MV for a few days, so I think it's probably something grand with many locations. maybe a retrospective of Heisei era? don't think Yasusu will miss the opportunity of using "the last of Heisei" theme and his favorite retro sound, especially since Sasshi is a center. not sure if it's going to be an Nth KoiChun or something new, but something KoiChun-like is more likely, I guess.

Since AKB mngm was concerned, I had my doubts if they would allow it, tbh. But yay, Sasshi center! First AKB center ever? And to think that even counting HKT's Bagutte Iijan, this is only the 2nd A-side center she gets from mngm... All the others she got hold by her own strength. CMIIW

About the type of the song, after listening to last episodes of Shibuya no Sashiko, I think it could be something H!P-ish (Get you! was great!), it would suit Sasshi very well.

Also Sasshi will never not be one of the funniest streamers on the web. Somehow every karaoke song she sings she gets in some surprising weirdo shiz.

 

I still want Imapara to be re-released as a title song

today Sasshi had a dinner (oden) at Hasegawa's house.
Takenaka Natsumi (the one that Sasshi chose as choreographer of Melon Juice) and youtuber FUWA-chan were also present.

the other photo is with Sugawara Maya (SKE) who was chosen as a senbatsu member for upcoming AKB single. she says that "she respects Sasshi and that being together with her in her last song is like a dream to her"

 

I would like sasshi to have written his graduation song
