If I'm honest I think Haruu is one of the (ex)members with the best fashion sense (but I'm repeating myself I guess ).

The large-scale debris flow that struck Izusan, Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture in July last year will reach half a year since its outbreak on January 3. There are younger generations who continue to support the victims, hoping to help the local community as much as possible.

Since I contributed to the recovery effort, I got an image of a handwritten note. I almost missed it. They had said it would come by the end of the year to my Makuake message box, but all I ever saw was an update. Just this week, I went back and looked more closely, and there it was, but in a incredibly small size. Only by downloading it was I able to see it.

I am curious about her being friends with some of the 1st gen. Anyone have any ideas?

 

She always seemed to get along pretty well with Miichan, who self declared as middle-manager
And I guess maybe the generation gap might have faded over time ... otoh, you almost only see 1st gens together with other gens when they run into each other on TV shows and Haruu isn't in the entertainment industry
They were never in the same team at any rate (unless I'm very mistaken)

Normally you can trace friendships back to:
a) being in the same generation
b) being in the same team
c) being a regular senbatsu member
as it takes time to get to know someone and build trust and friendship

anyway ... non of the above apply, I guess Haruu is just that likeable

 

Or she gives big discounts at her onsen.

 

Or very good fashion advice .... she has impeccable taste in fashion

if so ... we need a better pic .... and maybe a tee off between her and Ranran ... although I suspect Ranran is a bit out of Haruu's league ?
