Shimada Haruka, on AKB graduation and lifting of infamous 'love ban' -- "I can't even imagine what it'll be like"

AKB48's Shimada Haruka (24) attended the Nov 10 release event in Tokyo for her new photobook "That Way of life" (Takeshobou, 1944 yen).

Shimada performed a graduation stage at the AKB48 theater in Tokyo's Akihabara on the 13th, ahead of retiring from the entertainment industry in the near future. When asked about her life after graduation: "I'd like to explore what it'd be like to unwind for the time being. I enjoy travel so I'll take a break and go somewhere."

Although graduation from idol life means release from the infamous 'love ban', she said "I can't even imagine what it'll be like' with a wistful smile. Regarding future marriage, "I don't know at what age I'll decide to marry, but once married I want 2 or 3 kids. I've been told I'll have a large family." she said laughing.

Shimada joined AKB48's 9th Generation in 2009. All of her General Election attempts have been out of ranking, but she served as Team K's co-Captain and was active as a 'personality' member. In the TV Asahi series series drama "Tofu Wrestling", where members wrestle, villain wrestler Yumbo Shimada's role became a popular one.

Although up to now she'd never been known for a sexy character, she succeeded in losing 6kg in 3 weeks, and models lingerie beautifully in her photobook. "There's a lot of content that I'd never shown in AKB. It was taken beautifully and definitely my favorite book." she said, beaming.

It's a fun & sad stage at the same time..
It's nice to see hinana, moekyun & satopii were there at the end.. They really respect shimada i guess..

Spoiler: Just something i personally think

to me, the thing that i feel not satisfied abt Haruu grad stage is why no vtr abt her past life in akb & her grad dress eventhough its nice but to me its like something that done in a rush.. It can be more better that..why Shinobu?.. Why?.. (if shinobu the 1 that make it though..ahaha..)

 

about vtr : they play vtr on stage gen 9th special performance..

 

yeah.. I know that.. But, it doesn't hurt them to show it again with more longer version or other scene i suppose..

 

no flower bucket, no memorial photo and no paruru, mariko and mariyagi...

its more hurt...

 

Yeah.. Thats sad.. How i wish she got treated better.. She deserve more.. At least for her final day as an AKB.. Haizz..
