Single [SINGLE] AKB Idoling!!! - [Chuu Shiyouze!] (09/04/01)

I just watched two of the new 'sub-groups' from Idoling!!!, and I wasn't that impressed. This will prove interesting though. Too bad that it might be interesting only because it seems like a train wreck, though.

When I saw "Idoling!!!" was involved with this, I was like... yeah, not interested to begin with. And then I saw the member list didn't have SINGLE PERSON from Team B... that's a fantastic way of making me not happy with this new idea.

I just like regular AKB48, the full, sans whole other groups mixed in the bunch, thanks.

Well... I got interested in AKB48 thanks to No3b and this collaboration >_< So I guess this strategy might work for both sides.

 

So I was hanging out in Odaiba yesterday, and Idoling!!! did a free performance of about 4 songs. They have a stage set up under the Xmas tree at the foot of the Fuji TV building, and Idoling!!! were one of several acts performing that day.

Anyway, they spent A LOT of time chatting, but did not once mention AKB. The fans mumbled about it to themselves, but the girls didn't mention it at all.

I'm not into this whole thing, but I thought some of you might be curious.

 

What'd the fans say?

 

^ My Japanese sux, but it sounded like "Did you hear about...?", "What do you think about.....?", "When is that happening?", that kind of stuff. I didn't hear anyone sound too excited about it. They were there to go nuts for Idoling!!! after all...

The episode of Idoling's show with AKB48 appearing is airing tonight. I hope an AKB48 fan can grab it quickly because it seems to take awhile for Idoling!!! fans to get episodes of their TV show.

If it reveals the members of AKB-Idoling, I will be very happy. Not only for AKB48, but I started watching some of Idoling's TV show and I've got some girls from that group that I'm hoping will make it in there.

 

Actually, it's already aired. It aired at 2:40AM on the 28th, Japan time, and it's just after 1PM over there now. The on demand broadcast of the same episode has started via the show's official website, but you have to have a Japanese IP (of course :roll: ) to watch it that way.

So, the episode was just showing the two groups together? At least they're more interesting than YGA or whatever.
