Single [SINGLE] Itano Tomomi - Solo Debut [Dear J] - 2011/01/26

I was going to say Shinohara Ryoko... but her big seller was her 3rd or 4th single.

Outside of her, I guess of the top of my head it would be Utada Hikaru's "Automatic" single which did like 2m sales.

Still, remarkable sales for Tomo.

I just hope that she will sing in Music Station too, I mean, MS is the most famous music tv-show in Japan and only the most famous artist perform there, and Tomochin definitely deserve it too (I mean, she is now No.1 on Oricon).

 

Tomochin's single has the highest sales for a female solo singer since Utada Hikaru's 'Flavor of Life' four years ago, and the best sales for the debut single of a member of a female idol group since Maki Goto's Ai no Bakayarou 2001.

On a similiar note, I just won the theater version on ebay last night. [party] It was a bittersweet victory though, even though I got it for less than my max bid (thank god) it still ended up costing 4x more than the starting price since some cunts tried to snip it from me at the last minute. But alas, you can't put a price on Tomochin.

Yes, it's late, but CdJapan just confirmed my copy has been shipped (I had to wait unit AKB's new single was released). I swear I'll never do this again (refrain me from listening to the songs until I receive the cd), it's been hell on earth...!!!
