• Application Period: Now on April 26(Fri) to May 16, 2013(Thu) 23:59 JST.
• Illustration Theme keyword: "Amusement Park"
• Make the drawing for the cover
  (You can freely choose the size to post it, but it's recommended the proportion as in the picture below)
  
• Grand Prize: The one winner's design will be used for the Limited edition CD jacket.
• Excellence Prize: Will be selected a limited number of designs of few participants for Illustrated Book.
• Labeling/Putting a tag to publish it your design on pixiv
  Label/Tag to enter is: まゆゆジャケットイラコン
• Winners also will get Mayuyu's autograph signed with their nickname.
  (It's not stipulated on the website if they will sent out to outside Japan if any winner turns out to be from overseas).

hope the coulping songs will be better this time, Hikarimonotachi was great butthe coupling songs from the single were all horrible

You can make an account on Pixiv even if you're oversea tho. I have one, tho I use DA mainly
So then that shouldn't be a problem if we just send the entries in online.

The contest is interesting though and it's nice they're still catering to her otaku appeal even with the image change. Is it an illustration contest? If I can think of something for Mayu, I'll give it a shot.

And here was me wondering if they were going to get a single out for her to be promoting around the elections again

Do like the idea of the cover though and it suits Mayu of course so def a good idea on that one!

the site let you change the language display when you go into the setting. The sign up page is in english too.
I don't use Pixiv much but since it's kinda like Deviantart, I'm guessing there should be an official contest page that let you enter your entries

Pixiv have alot of good people in anime style and realistic style...ahh..the competition might be really hard

Nice for the fans, but doesn't AKB have an art club ?
Why don't they use them more for a 2nd cover as exemple (or any AKB relate release)

That's AKB. This is her own single.

I understand if she did the cover herself (Would be great) but I'm guessing with her last single, the limited edition one went pretty damn popular because of the covers. Pixv has a lot of good and awesome artists, the sky's the limit.

I think Haachan made a cover for Sakiko's piano album. Well can't go wrong with Pixiv.

^ No, it was Sato Natsuki a.k.a. Nacchi who drew the illustration for Sakippe's album cover art. Ishida Haruka a.k.a. Harukyan arranged the photo composition for the other version.

Oh my goddammit i thought it's just something similar to deviantart where everybody with different styles of art gather. But it's actually an anime thing which is the hobby of Mayu
How can i didn't predict it earlier

I'll think again in participating this contest, then.

I was wondering when her 4th single would be out. Wonder what kind of song it'll be, it keeps changing every song.

If it hadn't been on pixiv, I would have joined, but the calibre is way too high!

Looking forward to the new single. I wonder what image she'll go with this time - she is maturing all the time, yet the contest is held on otaku central haha
