I guess we can expect another four thousand for the last day and with the weekend adjustment it will most likely end up somewhere just below Junjou's numbers. Around 325,000 perhaps?

I was kinda hoping they would sell as much as Nagiichi did. This greater was far better than Nagiichi, IMHO. Haha. But that's me. [hehe]

I think this is a reasonable result. I think sales seem to be peaking for AKB groups....maybe economic problems or fans expecting a little bit more.

This single was OK, but nothing great, people are buying the young fresh energetic look of these girls. Give them some good songs and they will sell twice as much.

Wotas are finally running out of money thanks to the busy release schedule and Virginity might not be the sort of song that may not be so interesting to the masses. If you ask me, NMB has had far better A-sides (in general) than AKB or SKE, but it looks like they haven't really had a hit that would have resonated strongly among the consumers - despite Yoshimoto's strong push.

This single may not be doing as well as the previous ones, but considering how new NMB still is, I think just over 300 grand is good. Especially if you consider all of the other releases coming up by the other groups. Hopefully their next single will break 400,000.

man they might as well be hentai seiyuu tracks... i mean come on why can't we make this legit and less corny.

    ---

i think one thing that's holding back NMB is that they're too reliant on their top 5 (yamamoto/watanabe/nana/ogasawara/fukumoto).

they're not spending enough time developing people under them so i don't think they can sell enough handshake tickets that incidentally come with CD singles. if you think about how the undergirls of AKB are equivalent to the top players of NMB, you can imagine how the undergirls of NMB are like.

i'm not sure about SKE but i *think* they're just starting to realize it, hence the explosion during the election.

this is just idle speculation (idol speculation? har har) though.

Definitely true. NMB has incredibly song A-sides, as well as B-sides. It's just that they need a bit more popularity from their other members to really push them over the edge into 500,000+ territory. SKE has an incredibly stroke of luck with their gold mine of third generation members that help carry the first and second gen make SKE a behemoth.

Maybe they need a few more older members. NMB is really young and non-lolicon people may have trouble with that. SKE's popular members are mostly 20+ minus J, Yuria, Non and Manatsu. Of course, Fuu-chan and Miru are growing older so maybe with age they will gain fans. Because squealing like a child can only get you so far before you have to grow up and say adult things.

it's important to note that the cd sales are most probably unrelated to the actual music itself.

Is there a downloadable drama ver and of Namba Teppoutai Sonoichi PV?
I can't find them anywhere. The ISO on Hello!online can't play and I can't even rip the videos from the DVD with my converter..:\

I wouldn't say the PV is horrible, just belongs to a different song. But I do agree Sunahama Pistol is easier to enjoy without the PV.
