Still in line to beat Virginity and maybe Junjou, but I can't see it beating Nagiichi without another influx of theatre edition sales.

It's about to surpass Virginity but still a shy from Junjou and Nagiichi by ~20k and ~60k respectively. But go girls! Still waiting for my copy to arrive.

It doesn't seem like adding Yui in made sales increase that much which I thought was part of the point of the transfer.
Raising awareness about sister groups and attracting fans was the real goal, right? I don't really buy the "we want the girls to learn from AKB and teach their own groups that" theory since SKE and NMB were doing very well on their own without the double members

We'll have to see how it works out in the long run, it could just be that it was too early for Yui fans to know how much of an impact she has/will have in NMB.

    ---

I feel like I'm the only person in the world who thinks Hoshizora no Caravan is amazing. Its my favorite NMB B-side after Seishun no Lap Time. Yui and Macchun harmonize really beautifully in the second verse!

Definitely a quick progression in the release of singles every now and then, and even more recently in the past half year. They are really getting the unique feel of each single now which will be memorable despite releasing at such a rapid speed.

Don't worry, I agree with you! I loved Hoshizora from my first listen and I still do. Also, Seishun no Lap Time is my favorite NMB song period!

Well she has steadied the ship I suppose as the sales are gonna be about the same as Virginity, think this release was a bit early for any "Yui effect" too, now people know she's in NMB for sure we might se a chnage for the next single.....

    Total 1st Week: 317,051

    Zetsu - 212,632
    OMG - 260,254
    J. U-19 - 325,957
    Nagiichi - 368,409
    Virginity - 308,442

I guess that's the 3rd best 1st week and an improvement from Virginity's 1st week sales. And my CD hasn't arrive yet. Sucks... :fp:

i heard that in the bonuses, yuppi unleashes her yuppai.

i'm surprised she doesn't take advantage of that. i feel like her popularity would jump immensely if she did, given the superficial-ness of fans, lol

I'm actually quite glad she doesn't. I feel like she doesn't need that to gain popularity but it is kinda sad how it would help [worried]
She probably also doesn't want the attention to be drawn away from her personality.

A question I have been meaning to ask, was Yui included in the handshake event for this single? I am presuming she would be but I don't think I remember ever seeing her in pictures from those days.

She should be. They originally did not include her and it was kind of a big deal, then they decided to include her.

    Hmmm...
