^ Dunno, it may be from a fan. Unless we have evidence it IS hers, I'm not going overboard just yet.

Wow! This is really surprising, and actually kind of inspiring for such an unpopular girl to get a single, granted, she's been getting a fair amount of work from her agency since she joined forever ago.

'Katatsumuri' is kind of slow for me, but the chorus might sound great. Her voice sounds really nice in this sort of innocent song.

'Imomushi Joni' sounds fantastic. I'm excited about this one.

^ Yeah, this one came out of nowhere.

I mean, she is still found all over the littlemissmatched site, and she gets the odd appearance in magazines (usually with other girls from AKB, seldom on her own), but something as big as singing a song for a single, SOLO? Unexpected. But not unapproved. I like it. The A-side is indeed a tad slow, but it suits her voice (and I love that voice since her rendition of nageki no FIGURE), but the B-Side is right up my sleeve. So I did the only thing i COULD do: Preoder ASAP.

Aha! I knew this was going to happen! She was in an advertisement in a magazine (Young Jump, maybe????) dressed in a little baseball outfit like a month and a half ago and the caption called her "AKB48's next Ace". They've been grooming her for something big.

I like the B-side! This single comes out on my boyfriend's birthday. Heheh.
    Go Maachan!

Ogu Manami? Is that like how Meetan went by Ohori Meshibe for her solo? Also, it looks like there are some sort of anime characters on the cover. Is this an anime theme song?

^ It's the ending theme for Ojarumaru (an NHK Education channel anime) from 2010/03/29 for a year.

I wonder when/if Manami will get to perform these. Yuka and Queen & Elizabeth never really got to promote their singles through AKB, presumably because AkiP wasn't involved, but both of these are written by him so they should be acknowledged sometime...

I really hope Oku gets to perform it soon. Also, that she won't be too nervous and perform with that blank look of hers. I think you would be more popular if you smiled more Oku. :cry2:

TBH I'm not surprised about her solo debut, since Akipi said he regarded her as a future ace and whatnot, so I assumed he would find a way to push her (not that I disagree with it xD). It reminded me of former Onyanko Club member Marina Watanabe, she was also overly promoted at a very young age (15), so...

However, Maachan's voice surprised me. It's very soft, which makes it perfect for children songs :D and it's also in tune, which I find great. Nice choice, Akipi.

Did I say I love her voice? B/c I do.

EDIT: looki looki (well, more like "heari heari" XD)
