finally the announcement of their farewelll single and album. looking forward to the songs! i hoped for all the girls to be featured, ah well, maybe we get our treat in the pv [blush]

edit: I've been really enjoying listening to this song. Looking forward to the final single release.
And hoping a decent version of their stage gets released too!

And after Acchan's cameo apperance on Aitakatta Kamoshirenai,
Yukirin is going to make a cameo appearance on the PV. it's going to be a 12min one, and the plot happens 10 years after their graduation. ;_;

Serina is a successful actress, Kohara is a member of the House of Councillors, CinDy is mother of 3 childs and is pregnant of triplets, Nontii works for a life insurance company, Meetan works at night clubs/kyabakuras and Yukarin turned into...a man (there's a scene where she fights with her girlfriend).

 

If the song didn't already kill the single for me...

Now I'm just praying for the b-sides!

 

Not a fan of this. For their final single, would have been nicer to keep it pure SDN.

Still, the song and PV seem a nice send-off to the girls. I'll definitely buy it and I wish them all the best.

There doesn't seem to be much awareness of this single here on stage48 though

 

Why Yukirin




at first Serina still center & then Yukirin in PV [sealed] [sealed]

 

The Makeoshimi PV was unveiled after last night's Yuuwaku Thur Feb 9

I stand corrected with regards to my previous comments on expectations of tacky zero budget PVs production & initial gut reactions that SDN was ditching SEKUSHII for this single

The song is mainstream AKB, no surprises there

BUT the PV itself, gut & heart wrenching as a description is a gross understatement
i swear to GOD if you remain dry-eyed & composed, YOU ARE ALIEN NOT OF THIS EARTH !

And i was not the only one with tears streaming down involuntarily
Soft intial sniffles scatterd throughout the audience crescendo into outright sobbing by the end. :wah:

The rain parade carried over into the high touch with the SDN ladies stoically holding back the floodgates

Forget about Yukirin's cameo spoiling the landscape as did Haruna in [Onedari Champagne]
the entire SDN is in the PV circa 2022 SDN Grand Reunion with TGSK hosting in a Tokyo Hotel
It was so surreal as if we are really witnessing SDN as individuals 10 years down the road

And if i were a member of the Academy, Makeoshimi PV would sweep the Best Foreign Language Short Film Oscars

With the 1st Anniversary of 3.11 coming up fast
sandwiched between the releases of the single & the album
How many times can a man's heart be broken ? [brokenheart]

 

Nice to finally see someone being positive about the PV / song. A lot of people seem to be just looking for things to criticize against better judgment.
If it was SDN girls only, I bet there'd be someone complaining about Yukirin not being in it.

Wait...what? What does one have to do with the other?

 

Hmm... this sounds like a remake of Junen Sakura. I better watch this.

yukirin has got nothing to do with SDN's last single...if the managemant feels that "high" about including her in the pv...then do it if you feel that much happiness in it...more screen time for the SDN girls seems such a difficult thing to do it seems...
