In my opinion I think its pretty good with no tv promotion. It did better than I expected. Especially because this single only has two songs on the cd. And both songs are old songs. And this single only has one version. I agree with what Bort said in Takamina's thread about this being an obligatory release from Universal.

Really happy that her single was #1 for the daily oricon ranking!

 

2nd day she fell to #22 but there were so many new releases

 

They didn't even try with this single.

Releasing two old songs? Releasing it on the last day of the weekly chart?
A mess.

RIP Takamina's solo career.

 

They tried harder with her first album last year so I give them that, but this was clearly a throw-away single at this point. Like we announced and sort of promised a 2nd single, so here you go lol. Buy it, don't buy it, it's cool lol.

 

Sorry for the critics, but I think her No3B solos had more effort music-wise, those solos are better than her 2nd single. Not trying to compare with Jane Doe, since it also has a good set of songs.

 

Why is this not available in the United States (including Puerto Rico) and Canada, but available elsewhere in other countries, including YouTube Red countries?

I don't understand about this.

The song is exactly the type of music I listen to, sadly I don't have money to purchase it right now. I wish they also had more promo for this single so it could've sold more

 

^ Same, I'm completely broke right now, so I wasn't able to buy the single as soon as it was released.

I think Universal just missed their chance to grab onto the hype when Takamina first sang this song years ago. I didn't want to say this, but I'm more disappointed about this single than I should have been because of the delay AND the lack of promotion combined. From an outside perspective, it seems like they're giving up on Takamina's singing career in a way.

But I'd rather not be that pessimistic. I'm just glad they finally released this song (cause I do like the song) and that it did relatively well on its first day of sales.

 

I'm just happy that her songs are on Spotify =) even this "new" release
