iirc this MJ performance was recorded around 2 weeks ago. Karen also performed the charity song "Hana wa Saku" (not sure if it will be aired or not) and there was a picture of them.

I thought that performance was cool, with all the effects they did. Mayuyu also really is improving with her singing, I'm so proud.

I hope she can pull through and get #1 this week. It makes me worried how close this is.

 

^ She would be fine, unless there are some major changes in sales in the weekend for Momoiro / GENERATIONS (which probably won't happen). So far according to Oricon, the sales ranking is:
1st - Mayuyu - 78108
2nd - GENERATIONS - 67490
3rd - Momoiro - 66019

So yeah, based on the sales last week, GENERATIONS and Momoiro probably won't be able to catch up within a day with a 11k difference

Congrats Mayu on your first no.1 weekly. Really glad that this single also did better than what Otona Jellybeans did for the 1st week since imo it's better as a whole, both the A side and the B side so yep I'm really happy it sold well.

 

Yay! Weekly first. All 3 of her singles have sold quite well, especially considering they were all released this year.

 

Mayu has sold more than 350 000 copies of her singles this year being only 18 years old, that's awesome
