Single SKE48 15th [Bukiyou Taiyou] 07/30/2014

I thought it was about the handshakes (at least that's the best suggested probable reason) that the sales were down.

I admit though, I would love to see a different solo center from time to time in SKE despite Jurina being my favorite member.

 

Yeah there's no doubt that handshakes were the biggest reason. NMB's album, while still decent in sales, were still significantly lower than usual as well because of the handshake attack earlier this year

 

hi everyone. I just recently my copies of BT, and I need some help identifying some of the girls in my photos. I know 2 of them are from Team E, since they are dressed in the outfit pictured on the back of Type-C, which has the Team E song. here are the links to those 2 pictures:

Bukiyou Taiyou ranked 8th last week with total sale of 14896. On Thursday and Friday, it peaked at 2nd. I guess all Theater cds had shipped out last week which explained its increasing in sale compared to previous 2 weeks.

Total sale after 6 weeks is 435,645

 

don't know for yesterday but the final round will end tuesday, so another chunk of theater editions will be sent

Since the Theater sales ended on 9/30, Bukiyou Taiyou was first on saturday Oricon

 

the 500k mark will be difficult this time...

 

SKE48 15th single Bukiyou Taiyou have been certified Double Platinum (ダブル・プラチナ) by the RIAJ. For a single to be eligible for a Double Platinum certification, it must have reached sales/shipments of 500,000 units.

how come our own oricon count is only 457876 ? ^^'

1. RIAJ is just shipments (eg. Manatsu no Sounds Good, Sayonara Crawl and Labrador Retriever are all certified 2 million, but none sold 2 million for Oricon)
2. Oricon is not perfect in counting every possible sales of course. No one can be.


Anyways when this single was just released, I predicted the overall sales to be 450k, so it has exceeded my expectations.

@modomidi2013 - The certifications from RIAJ are pretty much like non-tangible stickers announcing the expected lifetime sales of singles/albums. Nothing more.
