As a side-note: the song really has grown on me a lot and I enjoy it. It really gets stuck in ur head a lot too and I kind of want to jump everytime they say splash or breeze lol

Depressing to see likely the same amount of sales of the Keya's album...

 

Compared with how the "Allfather"-P priority went during the release date? Nah...

 

The sales are good.

Billboard had them at 340k in two days. They have obviously passed the 350k mark by now.

If it gets to 400k it'll be a feat, imo.

I think the SG plateau-ing in that range is great, having in mind that AKB cannibalises part of their sales.

 

Keyaki's a new rising trendy group, while SKE is a 9 years old group who's been declining for years. Can't really compare them.


The fact that they are showing signs of recovery is good enough for me.

 

Yea, the sales are at least stable for the sister groups. Better than selling like SDN48...then we can really worry lol.

 

I checked Chicken Line and Kin no Ai something's first week sales; Mango is already doing better than the two.

SKE fans have a reason to be a bit optimistic, or at least, a sense of relief.

 

I know you're right. It just feels odd. I hope they keep a rotating center at least for the next few singles. SKE48 needs new faces, and if the songs are as great as Mango

 

I'm just happy we got a good single this time, with recovering sales.

 

The sales are better than last singles, but then I am hoping for a batch of late shipment like usual. Also thinking of buying more limited editions to help with the sales.

with Yunana being such a success, it's going to be interesting to see whether they're just going to stick with her for some time. At the very least I hope it's the end of only-Jurina centers for good (nothing against her ofc; I'd be quite ok with her double-centering with someone). I guess the only realistic choice apart from those 2 is Nao - some fierce song with her as a center would be nice.
