Wakabayashi, Mano and Kato all made their under debuts in S2 today. They didn't perform in units though. Takai -> Wakabayashi Oya (who slides to Yagami's position) -> Mano Takada (who slides to Matsui R's position) -> Kato Shibaki also made her under debut recently, on 6/14, for Shinkai Rina. Took over 8 months and she's subbing for a girl who will probably go absent 1 or 2 more times, if that, before the end of the stage. I hope they give her a bigger position soon.
^Is there a difference between debuts and under debuts? About Ako, she seems to have quiet some talent, I don't know why she hasn't been put in KII. Especially Aika T.T
Well these girls have been backdancing for a while (especially the older kenkyuuseis), but not actually performed a whole stage as a replacement for a official member, which is being an under.
OMG another Graduation, i cant believe this, they just keep on coming what is the reason for aiko's graduation? really what this the year of graduations?
When I saw posts in the research student thread, I was thinking someone would have been promoted I'm not too surprised though, I thought this would've happened ages ago. At first I never thought much of her but then her election video was pretty cute, and I was thinking a while ago she might finally be put into Team E or something...Anywho she only got to perform as an under a couple of times so that must've sucked :\ I think Maekawa will be promoted after Tsukina leaves, or maybe Wakabayashi.
She and Aika were the only RS left from the 1st generation. All that is stated is that she wants to follow a new path (like most graduated girls) I really have always hoped Aika would get a promotion.
It appears that Oshima Fuka has 'graduated' as well. It hasn't been announced officially yet - but she's missed her turn on the kenkyuusei blog twice now, and apparently is no longer listed on the pamphlet for the Sunshine Sakae.

Oh no not Maekawa, i've been rooting for to finally get on a team since i since her audition video, honestly i figured she'd be the on to replace Tsukina and S would become 16 again.
Updated first post with new kenkyuusei. This generation seems to be getting very good comments, even on 2ch, as good as I can remember for a new generation. Of course all we've seen is profile photos so far, but... - From profile photos, I like the looks of Handa, Ogiso and Ueno the most. - Looks like we've got a halfcast in Kinoshita? She kinda looks like early Acchan, too... - Yanase Aiko looks way older than she is, and Matsumura Kaori looks way younger. - Finally a 'Goto' in the 48s. Maki - Yamada Erika reminds me of Nontii. ^I don't think so. I think Blu-Cherri might have been referencing the AKB Cafe girls... But I'm not sure.
