That's my point of posting. Isn't it weird that they let another girl (whether a KII member or especially a kenkyuusei) to be among Team S members on the title of the show. To get this straight, this is a bad sign for Yui and her fans.

Who is the ace and captain for Team S? I would think ace would be Jurina but is Rena also an ace (dual aces)? Or is Rena the captain?
Hirata Rikako is the captain. There's no official job of "ace", but considering Jurina and Rena are always the centre of everything, it's pretty obvious who are the stars of Team S are...
Oh. Thanks! I don't know much about SKE at all. I really only now of Rena and Jurina and that's it. I would have thought Rena would have been captain but that's what I get for guessing I wasn't sure if there was a concept of "ace" like there is on the AKB side (Acchan / Yuko / Mayuyu after the aces for their respective teams).
I'm not sure if the whole "ace" thing should be taken that seriously But anyway, Jurina was originally the "ace" of Team S- she was in front from the beginning- but Rena's popularity with fans has pushed her to the top and they share the position as the front girls of the group.
Oh, I guess that brings up another question: Other than Jurina and Rena, who are the front-girls of Team S? MaxtheMan mentioned 3 other girls in the Team KII thread so I'm just curious who the others are (if there are others) for Team S.
Yagami Kumi and Oya masana (for now). However well known members of team S are Nakanishi Yuka, Kizaki Yuria, Suda Akari, Kinoshita Yukiko, Kuwabara Mizuki and Hiramatsu Kanako.
Yui and Jurina made surprise appearances at the last Team S show of 2010! As I'm sure most of us know, Yuimin's been out almost the entire year with a leg injury and Jurina had recording stuff to do in Tokyo. But they both made it for the last song and Team S finished the year with all 16 members on stage! [clap] I wrote in more detail in Yuimin's thread, but since it's Team S related too, I thought I'd post a link here as well in case people wanted to make non-Yui-centric comments.
