By popular demand, here is Speculation Station! For all your speculation needs.

For my first topic I was gonna ask "which draft members do you think NMB will pick?" But let's be real, ain't nobody got time for that.

My real question is about the election. Who do you think will rank from NMB? What position?
    Will Milky reclaim Senbatsu?
    How high will Miru climb?
Will any draftees or recently-promoted KKS make it?

    Speculate!!

My guess is that Sayanee will rank somewhere between 3 and 5. I don't think she'll get enough votes to close the gap with Mayu to take first.

    I am speculating that:
Sayanee will be 3rd or 4th
Milky will make Senbatsu, around 14-16th place
Miru will rank in the 30's
NMB Members that will rank this year: My locks for ranking are Sayanee, Milky, Ume, Reinyan, Miru, Fuu, Akarin, Keiichi, Popo, Shuu, Lemon, Airi. My long shots are Yuuri, Uuka and Riripon

@Lustucru I actually forgot about her, but I think she's a long shot to make it in as well.

I think Nagisa's the only girl who didn't rank last year that's a stone cold lock to make it this year. I really don't know who else is going to make it. I mean, if Akari is riding that cutoff line, then I certainly don't have a lot of faith for Airi or Yuuri unless there's a big shift in voting from NMB fans, which I'm not going to wildly predict.

How many spots are actually opened up from last year? At least 10-15, right? You'll be proud; I ventured out of the NMB section to search out the answer on my own, but I couldn't find a clear answer in about 10 pages of browsing in the election thread, haha.

    Sayanee #5
Milky around #10-12. She starts at #14 this year and I dont think she will drop. If she doesnt ranl higher than #12 I dont think her AKB situation will get any better next year
    Mirurun low-mid undergirls
    Umechan high next chan/low undergirls
    Fuuchan high next girls
    Kei next girls
    Shu next girls
    Nagisa next girls/future girls
    Akarin Future girls
    Lemon Future girls
    Ripopo Future Girls
Airi if she manage to rank low UCG

With the one vote that I'm giving to Miyuki, she's gonna make top 10 this year.

If Nagisa doesn't rank I will commit seppuku with my own katana. I'm so sure of it.

Apart from that my speculation on the station:
    Sayaka ranks 5th.
Milky ranks between 16th and 13th.
    Miru ranks lower half Undergirls
Fuuchan ranks upper half Next Girls.
Shuu and Nagisa rank Future Girls, Nagisa outranks Shuu.
Ripopo, Keicchi and Akarin rank Future Girls.
Airi might have a long shot to get in. Otherwise I don't think anyone will rank for the first time. Though I saw a lot of fan-made Riripon and Yuuri posters on 2chan...might mean something or nothing.

Going to go back to the election topic because I have a lot to say but nothing to say about the drafties (sorry)

Sayanee; First day results - 3rd place | Final results - 4th place
Miyuki: First day results - 16th place | Final Results - 12th place (I picked 12th because I feel like that is where she would have been if she didn't have that damn fake ass scandal)
Miru: somewhere between 33rd and 22nd
Fuu: somewhere between 40th and 29th

Will definitely make top 80 - Nagisa, Shuu, Ripopo, Akarin, Keicchi, Umechan, Reinyan, Lemon
Might just break into top 80 - Riripon, Haruu, Uuka, Airi, Yuuri

In total, I expect 11 - 14 NMB girls to rank.

The likes of Hiwatashi Yui and Kawano Nanaho will most likely be the main target for NMB(I really hope Nanaho end up in NMB). But like last draft there are so many interesting members such as Isshiki Rena,
Ogino Yuka,Murakawa Vivian and many more so I'm sure the member will have a hard time deciding who to pick for their respective team but it'll be a really fun and exciting event to watch live.
One thing I know is that BII will mainly focus on the younger girls unlike the last draft where they was mainly focus on the older members.
Also I couldn't care less about their performance level atm because they'll all start as a KKS either way.

if the video does not show watch the video here
Check out this recent video at 22:35. LOOOL NMB had to skype because they couldn't visit the draftees(Sayanee seem interested in Nomura Miyo who did Rashikunai in one of the video).

On the other hand regarding SSK. I think that outside Sayanee,Miru and Nagisa. Akarin will have the biggest increase in term of votes this year and could end up doing really well.
Also I think the number of NMB girls in the top 80 will surprise a lot of people this year(please :cry2:).

    Sayanee ranks between 3~6.
    Milky ranks in low/mid Senbatsu.
Miru ranks in low/mid Undergirls. (IF she ranks in high Undergirls I'm sure she will be a force to Milky.)
Fuu ranks in either low Undergirls or high NG.
    Reinyan ranks in high NG.
    Ume ranks in high/mid NG.
NagiShuu ranks in low NG/high FG.
Keicchi, Akarin, Ripopo, Miorin in FG.
    Airi in UCG.
Girls that MAY rank : Uuka, Riripon, Yuuri, Haruu, Aika.
I'm expecting about 13 girls, 16~18 at the most.

Hiwatashi, Hongo, Yasuda, and Nishinaka should be top priorities. If they secure those 4, the future might be really exciting as the group sorta experiences its annual turnover.

Don't forget Kawano. She has an excellent dance talent, was praised and actually had an idol experience prior auditioning for draft. She's really young too, which is a big plus.

if the video does not show watch the video here

I hope those 4 you mentioned + Kawano and Nomura Miyo get picked. It's not impossible since they chose 4 draftees last year, they may choose more since there are no KKS currently around.
