I'm Indonesian born Chinese and I have been living in China for 10 years.
Is there any Chinese fans in S48?

I've overcome all the difficulties to tell that if you can read Chinese,
you may go to China's local forum of akb48 : http://tieba.baidu.com/f?kw=akb48

probably you've already been a member of tieba
    what's your id then

it's great you can read Chinese!
oh...the proportion might be low but actually the total number of fans is considerable...

tieba is the place where most chinese akb48 fans (mainland, HK,Taiwan and students abroad) gather, having over 1000 active readers on normal days. every day there emerge hundreds of new threads, related or not related to akb...
if it is the day for special events like concert or election, there are posts telling the lastest progress and readers would boom...
welcome to speak in tieba and you ll find lots of interesting guys there :D

I've been studying abroad in Shanghai this past semester! In 3 weeks, I'll be going back home to the US, but I've had a really fun time here. My Mandarin sucks though (I didn't know any before I came here). If by chance anyone sees this and lives around Shanghai/will be here in the next 3 weeks, I'd love to meet up and check out the SNH theater cause I still haven't been there
