    1) Shojoutachi wo - I like how the MV shows a lot of behind the scenes where the girls are just being their silly selves, eating, sleeping anywhere, and having fun.

    2) Give Me Five - love the story plus the girls get to play the instruments

    3) UZA - what's not to like about this?! Everything is amazingly cool

    4) Yume No Kawa
    5) Kyou Made no melody - both graduation MV are heart-warming

    6) Sakura no Shiori - everyone looks stunning in their Kimonos

    7) Sakura No Hanabiratachi (ori ver.)

    8) Ikiru Koto

    9) Kibouteki Refrain

    10) Everyday Kachuusa - basically like a collection of all their old MVs which is nostalgic to watch

    01. Beginner (Original Version) (AKB48): seriously epic.
    02. HA! (NMB48): it's just too much fun. Love Milky's role in it.
    03. Dareka no Sei ni wa Shinai (SKE48 Akagumi): one of the most intense Pvs of the 48group. I'd like to see more like these ones.
    04. Mae Shika Mukanee (Drama Version)(AKB48): i just love zombie and post-apocalyptic things. Also the end made the fandom especulate so much that it was fun.
    05. Majijo Teppen Blues (AKB48): I just love how every chara of the MG has some time in it. Also is the only scene where Aachan and Yuko fight wich is awsome.
    06. Dakishimechaikenai (AKB48 Undergirls): I have a weak spot for long takes.
    07. Ikiru Koto (AKB48 Team A): It's kinda poetic and ... Beautiful.
    08. Kimi no Uso wo Shitteita (AKB48 Beauty Giraffes): I just can't control myself when AKB decides to go dramatic. I love it.
    09. Takane no Ringo (NMB48): It's very sweet somehow.
    10. First Rabbit (AKB48): I like the whole set. It's beautiful.

This rank should be extended to 30. It's very difficult to decide between so many good PVs lol

Sorry I mostly like only NMB PVs :p

    1. Kyuusen Kyotei - NMB48 Team N
People who aren't familiar should try watching it! :p

if the video does not show watch the video here
Everyone (well except the people in the car with Yukirin :p) had amazing screentime, the girls were cute, the outfits were great, just such a fun song and PV in general. really rocking that 50s fashion theme. definitely my favouriteeeee though it isn't as well known since it's new and it's a B-side. I wish they did something like this as their A-side instead of Rashikunai.
    2. Bokura no Eureka - NMB48 (I loved the LOST concept so much ahha)
    3. Zetsumetsu Kurokami Shoujo - NMB48 (NMB's debut PV and actually one of their best up-to-date for sure! The traditional elements in it where there's the tea ceremony, Japanese calligraphy, Japanese martial arts, and even instruments like the koto and the iconic dogeza at the end, it was just really neat!)
    4. Kimi ni Yarareta - NMB48 Team BII (I thought this PV really showed off all their different charas in the team really well!)
    5. HA! - NMB48 (The PV itself was great! Like a movie trailer ahha. And they were at Dotonbori, one of Osaka's most iconic places in Namba! And those iconic outfits too of course! The full Teppen Tottande movie too was just really badass too with the mafia and all :p)
    6. Takane no Ringo - NMB48 ( This was just reaaaally cute. I like Sayanee's childhood friend character/boyfriend in the PV :p)
    7. Hoshizora no Caravan - NMB48 (Some really fine acting by Maachun in particular!! And it was also a nice heartwarming message of how a bunch of friends invited their friends who were down (for one reason or another) out into the woods and spent time together, and by appreciating each other's company, they could grow stronger and not feel so down anymore cause there's people by their side to overcome things. Maachun's one felt very real to me somehow. She acted as someone who had lost her beloved pet dog, and for me who has lot my pet dog before, I felt really touched by her acting. How by her facial expression she looked so down, and her hesitance to play with puppies her friends were playing with...and till she could smill again..it was really heartwarming :3)
    8. Kitagawa Kenji - NMB48 (This one is just full of crazy from the outfits to the whole concept. I loved the scenes in the classroom where they all had glasses on and were dancing to the song too. It was just really derpy, dorky and cute.)
    9. Banzai Venus - SKE48 ( I really love the hyperness of this PV. And like everytime I watch it, I feel like going to the streets of Sakae and just dancing to this song XD)
    10. Oki Doki - SKE48 (I really like their shoes...that is the main reason hahaha)

    STAGE48 Countdown
    Episode 18: Best Music Videos
Hello, and welcome everybody to Stage48 Countdown. I'm Forrest Fuller.

On today's episode. We will be looking at the Best Music Videos as this is Episode 18 of Stage48 Countdown. These are the best music videos. From AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, Nogizaka46, JKT48, SNH48, SDN48, Solo, or Sub Unit Songs. These are the best, if they had a music video. They were allowed and had a chance to make this list.

Before we began. Let's get to the Honorable Mentions. Here they are.

    Honorable Mentions

    11) Utsukushii Inazuma (SKE48) (39 Points)
    12) Sayonara Crawl (AKB48) (37 Points)
    13) Barrette (Nogizaka46) (36 Points)
    14) Nandome no Aozora Ka? (Nogizaka46) (35 Points)
    15) Kibouteki Refrain (AKB48) (34 Points)

Now let's get to the countdown shall we. First up.

    10) HA! (NMB48) (40 Points)
In at #10 is a song that really should have been a single for NMB48 instead of a coupling song. It's NMB48 - Ha! from 2012.

NMB48 - HA! is from the 29th Single of AKB48. I know what you are thinking, why is an NMB48 Song on a AKB48 Single? Well instead of Team Songs (which moved to the other singles, first beginning with UZA) and then next time being So Long and you know the rest.

But why this is the #10 Ranked best music video from the 48Group? Because how can't you not like this video. Yakuza vs. NMB48. It's something you don't ever seen and you know what. It worked, If only this was a movie as well.

Would have loved to seen where they did end up fighting each other (Yakuza vs. NMB48). I'm sure we would have gotten some badass moments of Sayanee (before we see badassness in MG4 as the
Antagonist from what I think she is.).
Also would have been nice to see Miyuki get revenge on the Yakuza for kidnapping and making them think she was Sayanee. Also would have been awesome to see Yuihan fight her own family's Crime family. Maybe even get revenge on her grandpa lol.

Anyways. Everything about this video is just so awesome and very well done. It still sucks that this wasn't a single. If NMB48-Ha was a single, this would have been their highest selling single as of today. Same with SKE48's song on Eien Pressure.

    9) Everday, Katyuusha (AKB48) (41 Points)
The 9th Spot belongs to the girls of AKB48 and their 2011 Summer Song. Everyday, Katyuusha.

Everyday, Katyuusha is AKB48 2011 Summer Song as it was the first single for now full time senbatsu members in Yui Yokoyama, Sayaka Yamamoto, and Miyuki Watanabe. This was the first single to feature the girls of NMB48 as NMB48 was born back in October.

Also was the first MEGA senbatsu as it became something you now see in Summer Singles. Anyways, onto the Music Video as this music video was just very creative. The Story behind this video was the girls (minus Mariko, Tomochin, Takamina, Yuko, and Acchan) were getting ready to sail away.

Acchan in the video (who of course was the center of the video.) was trying to make it there (first riding her bike until that didn't work) and she ended up running the rest of the way. By the end of the video she was able to make it there.

I like to think that at the end of the video when Acchan makes it there, she is like. Why the hell am I always running in these videos, this isn't right. lol. But that was just one of part of Everday, Katyusha video. The reason why it ranked on this countdown.

Was because it was a montage of AKB48's Music Video from 2006 to that moment in 2011. Like you had Yuko doing the ending see from Heavy Rotation. The Slap scene from Oogoe Diamond (this time with Acchan and Sae), Iiwake Maybe race 2.

Also with Yuko vs. Acchan Part 2 lol. Plus featuring a bunch of other scenes from AKB48's past videos. It was just so cool to see and makes you reminiscence about their past. Would love to see that again tbh. It would work for the 10th Year of AKB48 (even bring back some of the graduating girls for the video).

    8) Sakura no ki Ni Narou (AKB48) (42 Points)
#8 is the Sakura/Spring Song from 2011. It's Sakura no Ki ni Narou.

In my opinion, Sakura no Ki ni Narou is the best ballad single that AKB48 has ever done. Even better then their 1st Indie Single. I know some people will disagree with me. But that's just my opinion. Anyways, as you know about the video.

The front girls for this video are Acchan (the center), Yuko, Kojiharu, Takamina, Tomochin, and Jurina who is the dead girl in this video. You don't know how she died though. But it must have been over the course of their school year.

The song is a very beautiful and when you listen to the song. You feel very emotional, maybe even shed a tear as well listening to this song and the video it's self is beautiful. With the girls like Takamina and Kojiharu (in College), Tomochin and Acchan working, and Yuko with her daughter.

Jurina is the dead chick in the video as in the end of the video. She becomes a cherry tree (as the title of the song says). Just beautiful how well done this video was and I don't think any other Sakura video will come close to this song.

    7) Gingham Check (AKB48) (60 Points)
The 7th best Music Video is one of my favorite videos of all time. It's Gingham Check from 2012.

Gingham Check is the first song not to have Acchan as a member of the senbatsu (did make an appearance in the video). As the Song was the result of the 2012 Senbatsu Election in which it was won by Yuko. Mayuyu was 2nd, Yukirin was 3rd and Sasshi was 4th.

The video is actually the very first AKB48 Video I ever seen when I got into AKB48 in August of 2013 and I loved it. It was directed by the AWESOME Joseph Kahn (the guy who needs to direct another AKB48 tbh with you) and it was a video that had 3 storylines.

These 3 storylines parody films. Terrorists invading a Police Department, Schoolgirl
explores a haunted house, and a Golza from Ultraman Tiga attacks a city. Also features a battle between Motorgirls and Car Devils which just makes the video even more awesome.

The Motorgirls lead by Yuko vs. The Car Devils lead by Mayuyu was just pretty cool to see. It also featured cameos by Acchan, Akira Nakao (Godzilla), Hideo Ishiguro (Kamen Rider Den-O), Kouhei Takeda (Hana Kimi, Kamen Rider Kiva), Dori Sakurada(Kamen Rider New Den-O).

The Kamen Riders were pretty much the love interest in the videos as one was with Yuko in the police department. One was with Mayuyu in the haunted house (oh how I wish I was him lol.), and one was with Yukirin as Golza was attacking.

I do wonder if they would have had a parody film thing for Sasshi as well if the one scandal of hers didn't happen. I think they would have. Would have been nice, but oh well.
    6) Ikiru Koto (AKB48 Team A) (61 Points)
At #6 is one of the best Team A Songs I've ever seen. It's Ikiru Koto from 2013.

Ikiru Koto is a very underrated song and video in my opinion. Why I say that is because you don't ever see this song being perform that much and it has never been ranked in Request Hour and don't think it will be for this years Request Hour as well.

But on to the video. The Video is a double center of Mayuyu and Takamina (who were the centers for the last Team A song which was Ruby) and featured other girls like.

Iriyama Anna, Iwata Karen, Izuta Rina, Kawaei Rina, Kikuchi Ayaka, Kobayashi Marina, Kotani Riho, Matsui Sakiko, Morikawa Ayaka, Nakamata Shiori,Nakatsuka Tomomi, Oshima Ryoka, Sato Sumire, Shinoda Mariko, Takahashi Juri, Tano Yuka, Yokoyama Yui.

Ikiru Koto is a dark video. LITERALLY! lol. Sorry I had to do that :p. But it shows Mayuyu in a bar with the a band right behind as she is singing. Takamina at the top of the stairs at a buliding (she looks ALOT different) in the video by the way. Mariko in the same building lol.

Also shows the other girls (like Tano dancing when everybody else stars dancing). Just everything about this video is so excellent and why I think it's one of the best videos AKB48 has ever done in my opinion..

    5) Tsugi No Season (AKB48 Undergirls) (65 Points)
At the #5 spot is Tsugi no Season from 2012.

Tsugi no Season is October 2012 which on the track called UZA. Tsugi no Season is a song done by the AKB48 Undergirls. The Senbatsu for this single is as followed

      • Team A: Iwata Karen, Tano Yuuka, Iriyama Anna, Takahashi Juri, Kawaei Rina, Oshima Ryoka
      • Team K: Nagao Mariya, Muto Tomu
      • Team B: Kato Rena, Ichikawa Miori, Takeuchi Miyu
      • Team S (SKE48): Kizaki Yuria
      • Team KII (SKE48): Mukaida Manatsu
      • Team E (SKE48): Kimoto Kanon
      • Team N (NMB48): Yamada Nana
      • Team H (HKT48): Kodama Haruka
The video was something else as show the members of senbatsu pretty much doing stuff over and over again and not giving up. Alot of them had a bunch of takes and they were pretty cool that they did that. This senbatsu featured a quite bit of members who are now senbatsu members.

Girls like Annin, Ricchan, and Yuria were just of the 3 and future ones lke Tanochan, Juri, Tomu, and Harrupi were also in this video as well. The ending part of this video was just funny as hell as it looked like the one thing going off scared the crap out of the girls.

    4) GIVE ME FIVE! (AKB48) (Drama Version) (73 Points)
At #4 is Give Me Five from 2012.

Give me Five is the first single from 2012 and the song that is ranked is not the music video. But the full 34 Minute Music Video. The full 34 minute music video of Give me Five is like a little movie of it. Wasn't the first AKB48 video to have a full video.

That belongs to Flying Get which the whole video was 18 minutes and very well done. Give Me Five is the same way as it had a story of the girls who working dead end jobs (Yuko having the craziest one of them all) and end up forming a band while during night classes.

Of course Acchan was the lead singer while Yuko and Takamina were on guitar and bass. Kojiharu and Mayuyu were on the pianos, Yukirin was on drums, and girls like Mariko, Tomochin, Rie, Jurina, Rena, Miichan, and Sasshi were on the other pieces of musical equipements.

Akicha, Sae, Yui, Kasai and Sayanee were the only girls that weren't on anything but they were in the video as members of the crowds. Kasai did play a pregnant chick in the music video which gives you a reason on why she wasn't in the band called Baby Blossom.

Overall the video was pretty darn good and even though they did it again with Heart Electric. Nothing will come close to the awesomness of Give me Five. Only wish Yuko got a guitar solo in the video and only her lol.

    3) Heavy Rotation (AKB48) (78 Points)
The #3 Spot is Yuko's Signature Song. Heavy Rotation from 2010.

Why I said that is because even though I'm sure this song wasn't written for Yuko. Yuko Oshima made this song her own as it was the very first time should had been a center for a single and I don't think Atsuko Maeda could have made this song what it is today.

I know she was the center and has made songs her own. But I don't think with this one. The Video of this song is so awesome as it's pretty much eye candy/fan service central. But you know what, who the hell cares. It is what makes the video special.

I know it did make a lot of noise and was a bit controversial. I know it was mostly because of the secne with WMatsui in the bathtub naked and giving the fact that Jurina was only 13 at that time. It would piss ALOT of people off.

But that didn't stop it from being one of the best songs of all time (not just from AKB48).

    2) Beginner (AKB48) (102 Points)
At #2 is the legendary Beginner from 2010.

2010 was a breakout year for AKB48 as their dominance in the idol world. It begin with Heavy Rotation and it started with Beginner as in January 2011. It began, you know what I mean. Beginner was the first full time senbatsu for both Sasshi and Rena as they are still senbatsu to this day.

Let's also talk about the video. While there are verision with Acchan as center, Takamina as Center, Mariko as Center, Tomochin as Center, Yuko as Center, and Mayu/Jurina Center. I'm talking about the original video. At First with that video. You are like HOLY CRAP!

From Takamina, Acchan, Yuko, Rena, Yukirin, Jurina and Tomochin being all wired to each other. To Mariko getting head crushed in, Mayuyu getting stabbed, Half of Kojiharu's face getting chopped off, Yuko sacrificing herself for Acchan before she gets crushed, Acchan's scream (with blood), Acchan hand falling and becoming a sword. It was no wonder this song became a classic. Good Video and VERY AWESOME song.

NUMBER #1 is coming up. The Recap is above you.

    1) UZA (AKB48) (111 Points)
#1 is one of the top songs from 2012. It's UZA!

The first single of AKB48 without Acchan (cameo or not) and it was something. From the bad ass first time you saw the performance at Janken 2012 (my favorite performance) you knew this song was going to be something special.

Directed by Joseph Kahn (who directed Gingham Check as well) Originally it was going to be a Mayuyu/Jurina Center track and from the video at the beginning, you would think it was going to be (as Mayuyu and Jurina in the center) but the dancing was too tough and Mayuyu ended up being replaced by Yuko as center). The Video was very different and the costumes were SEXY! The first fall video to have a homegrown HKT48 member as well (Sakura).

Well that's our show, sorry for the rehash of the Beginner and UZA write up. Was wasting too much time not getting to this sooner so there we are. Anyways, For Stage48 Countdown. I'm Forrest Fuller. Goodnight!

Like I usually do. Will work on the write up later. Glad to see Uza and Gingham Check made the list. I'm hoping for 2015 that Joseph Kahn directs another AKB48 video.

Anyways. Time to begin Episode 19 voting.

    Best Pairing

Wether they were like family (sisters), secret lovers, Good Friends, Associates (work buddies), student/teacher like combo. These are the best Pairings from the 48Groups. As you know. Pairing is only two girls, but will allow ones that have 3 (like the Team K Trio). Also will be having a limit on how many pairings of one person you can put. That number is two. That Number is three.

    Voting Begins Now
    Voting Ends on January 11th
