About Yuttan/Masuda Yuka, I think she is very very talented and has an amazing range. But I remember back in that competition, the criticism given to her was that she had all the skills and technicalities but lacked the emotional connection to the song etc. Lack of feelings etc. And perhaps everyone interprets it differently but I do agree with that. I think Wasamin displays more emotion in her singing. And I wouldn't underestimate her enka singing. Imo, it's one of the hardest genres to tackle in Japanese music, and the fact that she is actually selling quite well and technically isn't even an AKB senbatsu member says a lot about herself.

For example, when Yuka did Mushi no Ballad, everything in it in terms of vocal technicalities was point on, but there was a lack of emotional connection to the song like you just couldn't feel it from her. Actually, lots of girls who do Mushi no Ballad are the same; where their vocals are really good but then you can't feel their feelings in the song when it's meant to be really intense. And that's why it's so hard to match Akimoto Sayaka's original rendition.

However, that being said, when I saw Yuka's recent performance of Stargazer at AKB Request Hour 2015, I was really blown away because she has improved so much with her emoting and expressiveness which was something she used to lack in. So I'm glad for her

1. Matsui Rena (that Gekikara, i instantly fall in love with Rena after saw her acting in Majisuka Gakuen 1 & 2, that creepy smile and laugh~)

Ranging list of members who i think were most important, i'd rather just go with my favorite SKE top 1st gen.
Actually just have to ask, but does Nakanishi Yuka count as a 1st gen as she transfered from AKB 4th gen, I know the same doesn't apply to AKi since she actually graduated from AKB and than reapplied again as SKE member going through all the auditions.

1. Yamashita Moe (hardest graduation i've ever dealt with, but she's in Camouflage right now and has released some good MV's)
2. Sato Seira (my favorite SKE member for a long time after Moe)
3. Nakanishi Yuka (My original favorite SKE member when i was learning about the group)
4. Hirata Rikako ( The mother of SKE48, the one captain that everyone was in tune with)
5. Kuwabara Mizuki (One of the most interesting members in my opinion and probably tuned SKE's don't want to lose to AKB spirit)
6. Matsushita Yui ( One of the first members outside JRKT that got me interested in SKE)
7. Matsui Rena (One of the members that were my age, she pulled a good impression and was a partial favorite)
8. Hiramatsu Kanako ( One of the other members that was my age, she had cuteness and sexiness that Rena didn't have)
9. Matsui Jurina (one of those wonder kids, who i couldn't believe she was as young as she claimed, still though i really wish she relaxed more in the group)
10. Sato Mieko (One of the oldest members SKE ever had, but had a good personality on her head)
