    • The Maeda Atsuko Award (Member of the Year): Yamamoto Sayaka. Those 8 years were really wonderful :worthy:
    • Biggest Moment of the Year: Sayaka, Nanase, and Sasshi announced their graduation (damn, can't choose between those three :fp: )
    • Song of the Year: Synchronicity.
    • Breakthrough Member of the Year: Shitao Miu.
      • Moeka and Keito + Wonyoung are also the nominees, but tbh Miu deserved better :)
    • Comeback Member of the Year: Takeuchi Miyu.
    • Best Music Video: Sentimental Train (both versions lol)
    • Best Team: SKE48 (10th anniv, Nagoya Dome, most of members got ranked, 1-2 @ SSK. Would be greater if Jurina didn't go temporary hiatus)
    • The Akimoto/Takahashi Award (Captain/Leader of the Year): Would vote Sayaka tho, but........... I prefer Yamao Rina :p
      • Honorable mention to Sasshi because she, with HKT management, successfully persuaded OTR to allow them borrowed SakuNako for one-day concert. Something that Pledis couldn't do that during Wanna One's contract period lol
    • Worst Song: Teacher Teacher. sorry yuiyui
    • Worst Year for a Member:
Rather than a member, I think it's worst year for HKT. One ace is in indefinite hiatus, 2 aces got exiled to K-pop world for 2.5 years, and their mom has announced her graduation... What a sad year
      • But tbh, if I choose one member, it would be Tanaka Miku. Too bad her first center and entering senbatsu @ SSK are overshadowed by those events. Poor her, she must carry much weight in 2019 :/
      • Would choose either Jurina and Sakura, but tbh their year are not so bad. Jurina's only flaw is her hiatus, beside that her 2018 are pretty good. While Sakura, despite of her SSK loss, that exclusive contract, and Sasshi's graduation, she got much beautiful moment from K-pop world so :fear:

Song of the Year: Kaerimichi wa Toomawari Shitakunaru (Sentimental Train is a close second. Songs from pd48 all come after, they were all bops)
Breakthrough Member of the Year: Honda Hitomi
Comeback Member of the Year: Takeuchi Miyu (But Muto Tomu is a close second)
    Best Music Video: Sentimental Train
    Best Team: Team 8

Worst Song: Jabaja (it's not that bad tho, just not the best. Also No Way Man is a close second )

Biggest Moment of the Year: Jurina finally winning and with a number of votes only second to Sashi's records
Song of the Year: Sentimental Train
Breakthrough Member of the Year: Oguri Yui
Comeback Member of the Year: Muto Tomu (Takeuchi seems to be the more objective choice but I want Tomu to get a vote)
Best Music Video: Kaze wo Matsu
    Best Team: Team 8
The Akimoto/Takahashi Award (Captain/Leader of the Year): since its named after Takamina, so I guess I'll vote for the best management puppet.. i don't know, Yokohama Yui by default?
Worst Song: No Way Man. Sure, AKB usually explores different genre but this feels like its meant more to appeal to other fandoms.
Worst Year for a Member: Jurina. Well, it was a bitter sweet year.

FYI, I'm going to release this one by one. The First Award is already listed.

    Stage48CountdownBF2018.png
Welcome folks to the 2nd Annual Stage48 Countdown Best of Awards, I'm your host Forrest Fuller. Today we will be honoring the very best that was 2018 in the world of 48/Sakamichi. Let's get this thing started with the Worst of Awards.

    Worst Year for a Member
While some of the members had a great year in 2018. These are the girls who's 2018 just sucked, and the nominees are

    280px-KatoRenaA2018.jpg 280px-MatsuiJurinaS2018.jpg MiyawakiSakuraKIV2018.jpg 280px-HirateYurina7th.jpg ShidaManaka6th.jpg
Kato Rena - Matsui Jurina - Miyawaki Sakura - Hirate Yurina - Shida Manaka

    and the award goes to...

    280px-MatsuiJurinaS2018.jpg
    Matsui Jurina
Matsui Jurina was pretty much the winner by a Majority (with Sakura and Yurina getting extra votes as well). Jurina's year started out so well for (with her finally winning the SSK in June). But After 10 years + the pressure of the SSK and Produce48 piling up, she ended up having a mental breakdown which last 3 months. With her back now, here's hoping she will have a great 2019.

    Worst Song
Every year, We always have those songs that just have to make you go :fp:. The Nominees are

    260px-AKB4852LimA.jpg 260px-K467LimA.jpg 260px-AKB4851LimA.jpg 260px-N4621A.jpg 260px-AKB4854LimA.jpg
Teacher Teacher - Ambivalent - Jabaja - Jikochuu de Ikou! - NO WAY MAN

    and the award goes to...

    260px-AKB4851LimA.jpg
    Jabaja

Dear Aki-P, It's 2019. Could you please do us a favor and STOP WITH THE DAMN VERSIONS OF KFC, I mean ever since then we've had 2.0 in Kokoro no Placard, 3.0 in Halloween Night, 4.0 in High Tension, 5.0 in Jabaja. ENOUGH is ENOUGH already. Naachan for sure deserved better here with this stinker of a song.

Now that we got the Worst stuff out of the way, It's time to honor the best from the 48/Sakamichi Groups.

The Akimoto/Takahashi Award (Captain/Leader of the Year)
Named for two members who have been known as two of the greatest Captain/Leaders in the history of the 48/Sakamichi Groups. This is the award for the Captains/Leaders who have shown how great they are at it. The Nominees are

    280px-YokoyamaYuiA2018.jpg 280px-KojimaKarinN2018.jpg 280px-KitaharaRieNIII2018.jpg 280px-YamamotoSayakaN2018.jpg 280px-OkadaNana42018.jpg

    Yamamoto Sayaka and Okada Nana
Our first ever tie for an award as both Yamamoto Sayaka and Okada Nana take home the first ever Akimoto/Takahashi Award. Couldn't think of two better people that deserve this award as these have shown that they are the best captains in the 48Groups.

    Best Team
Since the beginning, all of the groups have had teams. Altogether we have 20 teams from the 48/Sakamichi Groups. These are the best. The Nominees are

    AK-018-1410-3693_p01_500.jpg Team_8_logo.png AKB48 Team A.jpg Nogizaka46_logo.png SKE48 Team KII.jpg

    and the award goes to...
    Team_8_logo.png
    AKB48 Team 8
The Eitos take home the award for Best Team. Pretty much the Team with the biggest following out there and a very loyal fanbase as well (as you can also see here on Stage48 as well :)). Well deserve award.

    Best Music Video
We've had some creative and great Music Videos out there this year, The Nominees are

    【MV】僕だって泣いちゃうよ _ NMB48 - YouTube (1080p).mp4_snapshot_00.18_[2018.10.23_10.46.31].jpg 乃木坂46-『シンクロニシティ』.mp4_snapshot_02.49.jpg x1080-meT.jpg SKE48_-「Stand_by_you」MV_full.jpg sddefault.jpg
Boku Datte Naichau yo - Synchronicity - Sentimental Train - Stand By You - Soredemo Kanojo wa

    and the award goes to...
    x1080-meT.jpg
    Sentimental Train
For the 3rd straight year, The AKB48's SSK Single has been pretty great song and a great music video to boot as well. While Jurina wasn't in the Original Video due to her Hiatus (which cause some people here to be annoyed with the way they did), she was finally able to have her own scenes filmed and was officially released back in October 2018 and it felt complete.

Some members's past years aren't really that great, sometimes they look to rebound from their terrible past year and have one heck of a year. These are the 5 that had just that. The Nominees are

    280px-MutouTomuK2018.jpg 280px-OyaShizukaB2018.jpg YabukiNakoH2018.jpg 280px-TakeuchiMiyuB2018.jpg 280px-MiyazakiMihoA2018.jpg

    and the award goes to...
    280px-OyaShizukaB2018.jpg
    Oya Shizuka
It continues to surprise of how much loved Shiichan has been getting as of late. 2018 was no different as Oya Shizuka ranked once again and actually centered a Coupling Song on AKB48's 54th Single (which I still can't believe she has lol).

    Breakthrough Member of the Year
These girls had their breakthrough year this year and became extremely popular and looks like they will become big names in the future. The Nominees are

    280px-YamauchiMizuki2018.jpg 280px-ShitaoMiu8July2018.jpg 280px-OguriYui8July2018.jpg 280px-YahagiMoekaKKS2018.jpg 168px-HondaHitomi8July2018.jpg
Yamauchi Mizuki - Shitao Miu - Oguri Yui - Yahagi Moeka - Honda Hitomi

    and the award goes to...
    280px-YahagiMoekaKKS2018.jpg
    Yahagi Moeka
Yahagi Moeka has been much had alot of hype since even before she debuted (when she was auditioning for AKB48's 16th Generation) and has been pretty much been living up to that in 2018. She has had alot of shoots, is one of the best HS sellers, and even centered her very first song. Moeka looks like she is prime to have one hell of a 2019.

    Song of the Year
The songs are the songs that you could just listen to over and over again because of how great they are. The Nominees are.

    260px-NMB48YokubomonoA.jpg 260px-N4620A.jpg keyakizaka46_Mou-Mori-e-Kaerou-ka_09.jpg Nekkoya.jpg 260px-SekainoHitoeTypeA.jpg
    Yokubomono (NMB48) - Synchronicity (Nogizaka46) - Mou Mouri e Kaerou ka? (Keyakizaka46) - Nekkoya (Produce48) - Sekai no Hitoe (NGT48)

    and the award goes to...
    260px-N4620A.jpg
    Synchronicity (Nogizaka46)
and the awards continue for Synchronicity lol. The winner of the 2018 Japan Record Award is also the winner of the Song of the Year here on Stage48. Centered by Shiraishi Mai, There was a reason why it won the Japan Record Award in 2018. It's one of the most well loved songs and it shows why it won the Song of the Year Award for 2018 here on Stage48.

    Moment of the Year
The are the biggest moments of the year, from good, to shock, to wtf, to bad. These moments had us talking about them in 2018. The Nominees are.

    250px-Produce_48-poster.jpg Nanase-Nishino_AS_2018.jpg AKB48 53rd Single Sekai Senbatsu Sousenkyo.jpg DgFwTLIUwAIdGXd.jpg IMG_20181215_151944.jpg

    250px-Produce_48-poster.jpg
    Produce48

Produce48 was first announced on November 29, 2017 at the 2017 MNet Asian Music Awards in Japan and was a moment that surprised everyone. The reactions were pretty much like his lol.

It 39 members of the 48Groups and it was a pretty popular show as everybody was seeing how it would go. Premiering on June 15th and ending on August 31st when the Miyawaki Sakura, Yabuki Nako, and Hitomi Honda ended up finishing in the Top 12 and becoming part of the group IZ*ONE. Those 3 will now be with the group until April 2021 where they will join even more popular then before.

and now we have reached the final award. The Biggest award of the night.

The Maeda Atsuko Award (Member of the Year)
Named after somebody who is pretty much known as one of (if not) the best members in the history of the 48/Sakamichi Groups. The Nominees are

    280px-YamamotoSayakaN2018.jpg 280px-OguriYui8July2018.jpg MiyawakiSakuraKIV2018.jpg 280px-NishinoKaerimichi.jpg 280px-OkadaNana42018.jpg
Yamamoto Sayaka - Oguri Yui - Miyawaki Sakura - Nishino Nanase - Okada Nana

    and the award goes to...
    280px-OkadaNana42018.jpg
    Okada Nana

What a year Okada Nana had. She centered her first single, Ranked in the Top 5, is one of the best HS Sellers in the 48Groups now, and is The Ace of AKB48 after Mayuyu graduated. 2019 looks to be another great year for her as she will be one of the favorites to win the SSK next year (along with Jurina and OgiYuka). So congrats to Okada Nana on winning The Maeda Atsuko Award.

Well folks, that's our awards for this year. Stage48 Countdown: Best of 2019 will be January 5, 2020. So let's look forward to it shall we :).
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks to everyone who voted on this, did have to do some random ones to fill it out with 5 nominees. Might change the voting thing next year a little, not sure. Next year I will also be having more awards as well (5 more of course).

Anyways, time to began Episode 221 voting.

    10 More Underrated Members

Back in November 2014 (Episode 12) I did a list of the 10 Most Underrated Members. Once again, with more members now. I figured we could do a list of 10 More Underrated Members. These are girls (past and present) from AKB48-SKE48-NMB48-HKT48-NGT48-STU48-JKT48-BNK48-MNL48-AKB48 Team SH-AKB48 Team TP-Nogziaka46-Keyakizaka46.

Also I do asked that you all do know what underrated means (Just don't want to see people here voting for girls who they think are disrespected by management). I want girls who you think should be giving more love by people.

Like with 2nd time lists of past lists, these girls are INELIGIBLE as they were on the first list.

    Sato Amina
    Sato Natsuki
    Katayama Haruka
    Akimoto Sayaka
    Takeuchi Miyu
    Iwasa Misaki
    Shimada Haruka
    Masuda Yuka
    Sato Mieko
    Miyazaki Miho

But you can vote for the Honorable Mentions which were

    Omori Miyu
    Nakanishi Chiyori
    Iwata Karen
    Hirajima Natsumi
    Umeda Ayaka
