    1. Original Team K - seriously, they were the best when it came to talent and teamwork. Talent-wise, they had all the bases covered: singing, dancing, acting, comedy, athletics, etc.. They also didn't have just one member, but at least three members in each category that were not only good at what they could do, but were among the best at it in the 48G.

As for teamwork, there's a reason why the K stands for kizuna. They were able to bring together members that were completely different from each other and managed to form a tight-knit and cohesive unit. Young and old, orthodox and unorthodox, manly and ultra-feminine...they brought it all together. Not bad for a team that was supposed to be the "anti-idol".

    2. Akimoto Team K - some consider this team the strongest 48G team ever. Led by the Shinyuu Trio, along with Tomochin, Miichan, Erepyon, and later Yui and Jurina. They also carried on the kizuna legacy from the original team. Breeding ground of future captains.

    3. Original Team A - the best way to describe this team: star power. The face and ace of AKB, the future soukantoku, perennial senbatsu members, and just overall name recognition. Lots of mature eye candy as well: Yukarin, Hana, Nozofisu, Maimai, Risa, and of course Kojipa.

    4. Original Team B
    5. Hirata Team S
    6. Yamamoto Team N
    7. Miyazawa Team S
    8. Kashiwagi Team B
    9. Takahashi Team A
    10. Oshima Team K

    Done.

Honestly was having trouble on whether to add that (Original Team S and N) or not.

Anyways, for anybody who voted for the Original Team N, your vote will be counting as Yamamoto Team N (V1).

    5. Ota Team KIV
    6. Furukawa/Oba Team KII (These two leading KII together last year was made the team stand out more to me, tbh. Not that Churi wasn't a good leader on her own, it's just that she had too much pressure back then.)

Sorry, I know it's kind of buried and I know it's being merged, but I just saw this, and I did want to expand on it, because it is confusing, haha. But yes, there was a definite and noticeable shift between Team N around the time @convenience93 is talking about.

I'm sure the exact date is debatable, but I place that separation at the time Miorin was made a kennin. Yui fit the template of Team N at the time of her kennin, so the loss of Matsuda Shiori wasn't felt as much, but it was the graduations of Fukumoto Aina (and Kanchiru) and transfer of Yamada Nana, which not only took away leadership, but led to the promotions of non-1st gens (especially Aikatty) that shifted the roles of the team considerably and introduced the senpai/kouhai dynamic that hit a major reset on the team as a whole. They were largely the same girls, sure, but the Team N that debuted Kokoten absolutely wasn't the same team that existed prior to 2013.

I don't have a history with other groups in the same way I do NMB, but I suspect this is a fairly common trend before teams were shuffled every other week, because shuffles aren't the only way teams change. Even a back girl leaving can alter the ecology of the team dramatically. So yeah, this is a very difficult poll to undertake because teams aren't stoic entities like a song; they're constantly changing and evolving.

Stage48 Countdown: Episode 60 (Best Team)

Welcome everyone to Episode 60 of Stage48 Countdown. I'm Forrest Fuller. On todays episode, we will be counting down the Top 10 Best Teams from the 48 Groups. Before we began, let's check out the 5 who just shy of making the list. Your Honorable Mentions, here they are.

    Honorable Mentions
    11) Minegishi Team 4 (V1) (54 Points)
    12) Shinoda/Yokoyama Team A (53 Points)
    13) Hirata Team S (50 Points)
    14) Takahashi Team A (V2) (42 Points)
    15) Takayanagi Team KII (V1) (41 Points)

    Now to your top 10.

    10) Oshima Team K (56 Points)
    9) Miyazawa Team S (69 Points)
    8) Oba Team 4 (73 Points)
    7) Original Team B (91 Points)
    6) Yamamoto Team N (V1) (100 Points)
    5) Takahashi Team A (V1) (103 Points)
    4) Kashiwagi Team B (120 Points)
    3) Akimoto Team K (148 Points)
    2) Original Team A (179 Points)
    1) Original Team K (189 Points)

    -----------------------------------------------------------
The Original Team K takes the top spot. No surprise giving how popular that team really is (and rightfully so). To this day, they are still the closet team of all time. Even the girls who were promoted into the Original Team K (like Kuramochi) are pretty close with the girls. I think when these girls are in the 70s and 80s. They will still be very close.

The Original Team A takes spot #2. The group that started it all for AKB48. Girls like Acchan, Takamina, Mariko, Tomochin, Miichan, Kojiharu, MaiMai, Rinatin were just so of the groups that made the Original Team A the group and what helped make Team A the top Team in all of the 48 Groups.

Was glad to see All 4 Teams from the 2009-2012 era of AKB48 made the list. Takahashi Team A V1, Akimoto Team K, Kashiwagi Team B and Oba Team 4 were in my opinion, some of the best teams ever. Team A had girls like: Acchan, Takamina, Kojiharu, Mariko, Akicha, Sasshi, and Kuramochi. Team K had girls like: Yuko, Akimoto, Sae, Tomochin, Miichan, Yuihan, Fujie. Team B had girls like: Mayuyu, Yukirin, Rie, Miho, Kasai, Masuda. Team 4 had girls like: Paruru, Shimada, Annin, Juri, Tanochan, Miorin. Just a bunch of well known girls who worked perfectly for that team. Why it's regarded as one of their best eras in the history of the 48 Groups.

    Time for Episode 61 voting

Good Songs with a Bad Music Video

Sometimes we love a song but not so much the Music Video. The Music Video either being halfassed or something else (Too Many too name for reason why the music video was bad lol, but you know them). These are the 10 Good Songs with a Bad Music Video. Songs from AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, SDN48, Nogizaka46, JKT48, SNH48, Sub Units, and Solos are allowed. These are songs that had a music video to them (Pretty much Singles and Coupling Songs) that are allowed.

Also FYI, next week will be Bad Songs with a Good Music Video.

    Voting Begins Now
    Voting Ends on November 1st

Since there was an overall preference for the original and first shuffle AKB teams, I was curious about the scores of the teams that were active in 2015.

    1. Miyazawa S (69 pts)
    2. Team 8 (38 pts)
    3. Yokoyama A v2 (33pts)
    4. (Tie) Suda E, Yamada/Fujie M (30pts)
    5. (Tie) Takahashi A v2/ Kamieda BII v2 (26pts)

    Takahashi A v2 (2014-2015)
    Yokoyama A v2 (2015-)
    Yokoyama K (2014-2015)
    Minegishi K (2015-)
    Kuramochi B (2014-2015)
    Kizaki B (2015-)
    Minegish 4 v2 (2014-2015)
    Takahashi 4 (2015-)
    Team 8
    Miyazawa S (2014-)
    Furukawa/Oba KII (2014-)
    Suda E (2014-)
    Yamamoto N v2 (2014-)
    Yamada/Fujie M (2014-)
    Kamieda BII v2 (2014-)
    Anai H (2014-)
    Oota KIV (2014-)

Really cool that Miyazawa S made the overall top 10 though
