    STAGE48 Countdown
    Episode 6: Best 48G Generation

Welcome to Episode 6 of Stage 48 Countdown. I'm Forrest Fuller. On this weeks episode we are looking at the best 48G Generations. From AKB, SKE, NMB, HKT, Nogizaka46, SNH, JKT, and SDN. We are going to rank the best generations of all time in the 48 Groups. So here we go. First up, the 5 generations that are just shy of making the countdown. Your Honorable Mentions.

    11) AKB48 15th Gen: (95 Pts)
    12) Nogizaka46 1st Gen: (94 Pts)
    13) AKB48 5th Gen: (78 Pts)
    14) AKB48 4th Gen: (64 Pts)
    15) SKE48 2nd Gen: (62 Pts)

Also, for the first time ever. I want to give a Dishonorable Mention. I think you know what Generation I'm talking about.

AKB48 8th Generation: The Fail Generation.

Only good thing that came from it was that we have Nanami Nishikawa a Nogizaka46 member. Anyway, let's get to the countdown shall we. First Up

    10) SKE48 3rd Gen (102 PTS)
Coming in at #10 is a generation that gave us a lot of good members that equaled the first generation of SKE48. It's SKE48 3rd Generation. The 3rd Generation of SKE48 begin in November 2009 and in this generation. You had members like: Akari Suda, Yuria Kizaki, Yukiko Kinoshita, and most notably. The Honorary Lifetime Kenkyuusei Member: Kaori Matsumura.

This generation has show the success of SKE48 and Yuria has now gone on to become the center of AKB48 Team 4. Akari Suda is now the #3 member of SKE48 and has become all full time Senbatsu Member of AKB48 and could one day center an SKE48 (I hope). Yukiko's popularity rose big time and ended up ranked 40th in the latest senbatsu ranking. Even though she is graduating. She will be a well loved member and know as one hell of a dancer.

Kaori Matsumura is one of the most known members and at 24 Years old. She is still known as one of the most popular members of not just SKE48, but of all the the 48Groups. As her ranking went from 34th, 24th, to 17th. Also known for her camcorder as well.

    9) SKE48 1st Gen (137 Pts)
In at #9 is the generation that started it all for SKE48. It's SKE48 1st Generation. In July 2008. It was announced that AKB48 would become AKB48G (not officially) and SKE48 was born. Began on October 5th as Team S. It had members like Masana Oya, Sato Mieko, Yuka Nakanishi (who actually began as a 4th Generation AKB48 Member before being transfered), Sato Seira, Rena Matsui, and most notably. Some girl name Jurina Matsui (Ever heard of her? lol).

Jurina Matsui was 11 Years old when she debuted. Still one of the youngest members ever to debut. She has pretty much become one of the greatest members of SKE48, but is one of the greatest members of AKB48G ever. A Future Winner in the Senbatsu Souenskyo for sure.

Rena Matsui is another one of the members that makes SKE48 what it is today. As another one of the centers, she has also joined Jurina in AKB48 Senbatsu. Becoming a full time senbatsu member with Beginner in October 2010.

Masana Oya is another member who has made SKE48 what it is today. A Full Time SKE48 Senbatsu member. She has been in all of the Senbatsu expect for two of them.

You could say that this is all about Jurina and Rena. But it's not.

    8) AKB48 14th Gen (137 Pts)
At #8 is one of the latest generation that gave us 3 big members of the future. It's AKB48 14th Gen. The 14th Generation of AKB48 was announced on July 2012. Even though it only gave us 6 new members. They were 6 pretty good members, 3 of them stood out from the rest.

We have girls like Hikari Hashimoto, Maeda Mitsuki, Natsuki Uchiyama. Most Notably: The Three Muskeeters. Miki Nishino, Nana Okada and one of the future Aces and future senbatsu souenskyo winner. Mako Kojima.

Mako Kojima became the standout of this generation as she was named the ace of it and rightfully so. She will be one of the leaders of AKB48 in the future.

Nana Okada is the most talented out of the three muskeeters as she is one hell of a dancer and will soon be a future full time senbatsu member. Her time is coming I think

Miki Nishino is the cutie pie of the three muskeeters as her fraedy cat reactions are just so damn cute. But you can't help to know that she will be like Kojimako and Okada. A Future Full Time Senbatsu Member.

    7) AKB48 12th Gen (159 Pts)
7 is a Generation that whom time has come now and they are ready for it. It's AKB48 12th Generation. Beginning in April of 2011. This Generation gave us Tomu Muto, Karen Iwata, Yuka Tano, Juri Takahashi, Rina Hirata (AMERICA, F*CK YEAH!), Yukari Sasaki, and also
    Aimi Eguchi.

Tomu Muto and Yuka Tano are consider underrated members by alot of people because of how talented they are. Why people are glad that Tomu Muto (First) and Yuka Tano (2nd, But 1st management senbatsu). They will be in a lot more senbatsus going forward.

Same with Juri Takahashi. A Girl who debuted pretty high in the election this year and in two years she will be elected into senbatsu. She's a future full time senbatsu member and like TanoTomu. Is only getting popular.

Rina Hirata is another one of the members that will be ranked next year (calling it right now) as she was close this year. Her popularity has grown and I think it will continue to grow. She also speaks fluent English as well.

Ami Eguchi aka. The greatest marketing thing EVER. If you don't know. She was made in CGI. She has Acchan eyes, Tomochin's nose, Mariko Shinoda's mouth, Yuko Oshima's hair and body, Minami Takahashi's outline, Mayuyu's eyebrows, and was voiced by Yukari Sasaki (then a kenkyuusei member).

    6) AKB48 3rd Gen (177 Pts)
Coming in at #3 is the original Team B of AKB48. It's AKB48 3rd Generation. Began in December 2006. The Teams were complete as Team B was born and debuting on stage in 2007. This team had members. Haruka Katayama, Miku Tanabe, Aika Ota, Haruka Nakagawa, Yuki Kashiwagi, and that girl named Mayu Watanabe (know her? lol).

Mayu Watanabe became the leader and Ace of this group. Team B became the Team it is today because of her, but also with her bff Yuki Kashiwagi.

Yuki Kashiwagi is the another Ace of AKB48 Team B and with these two as the leaders. Team B was able to grown as a group and become the team that it is today.

Let's not forget that you have members that also helped the group as well. Aika Ota aka Lovetan was another well loved member of the 3rd Gen. Not quite as popular as MaYuki. But she was pretty popular and now is showing her good captain skills as HKT48 Team KIV's captain.

Haruka Katayama is a member who was loved as well. Even though she was never in a AKB48 Senbatsu. She was able to rank 4 times. #29 in 2009, #37 in 2010, #48 in 2012, and #34 in 2013.

Miku Tanabe is a girl that shows you that good things will come to those who wait. Her hard work was FINALLY rewarded in 2014 with a ranking.

Haruka Nakagawa career really took off after she was moved to JKT48. She has the status of what Mayuyu and Yukirin have in AKB48 in JKT48.

    5) HKT48 1st Gen (202 Pts)
In at #5 is the generation that started it all for HKT48. It's HKT48's 1st Generation.

Announced in July 2011. The 3rd Sister Group (4th Overall) was HKT48. The 23 members (Anai Chihiro, Ueki Nao, Kumazawa Serina, Kodama Haruka, Komori Yui, Shimono Yuki, Sugamoto Yuko, Tanaka Natsumi, Taniguchi Airi, Nakanishi Chiyori, Matsuoka Natsumi, Miyawaki Sakura, Murashige Anna, Motomura Aoi, Moriyasu Madoka, Wakatabe Haruka, Abe Kyoka, Imada Mina, Eto Sayaka, Nakanishi Ayaka, Fukagawa Maiko) debuted on October 23, 2011 and members like Sakura Miyawaki, Haruka Kodama, Anna Murashige, Natsumi Tanaka, Madoka Moriyasu, Natsumi Tanaka, Haruka Wakatabe became the well known members of the group.

Sakura Miyawaki is one of the members that will be leading HKT48 one day. She will center an HKT48 single (even though she has centered an AKB48 single) this girl just has ace written all over her.

Haruka Kodama is one of the most talented members of the group and was finally rewarded for the 4th Single with a Center Spot. She will center more singles for HKT48 and might even center one for AKB48.

Anna Murashige is another one of the most popular members of HKT48. Being in the first 3 singles for HKT48. She ended up being ranked for the first time in 2014. She has hiit a rough spot in her career due to a "scandal". But she's somebody who will rebound from it.

    4) AKB48 9th Gen (222 Pts)
Coming in at #4 is a generation that has been compraed as one of the best since AKB48 began. It's AKB48's 9th Generation.

Announced in September 2009. The AKB48 9th Generation featured girls like: Team A Vice Captain: Mariko Nakamura, The VERY underrated Haruka Shimada, Mariya Nagao, Yui Yokoyama, Miyu Takeuchi, Mina Oba, Suzuran Yamauchi, and the saltiest girl in the world, Haruka Shimazaki.

Haruka Shimazaki is the most well know member to come from this generation. A Girl who has improved since the days she began in AKB48. She does have alot of haters, but she doesn't worry about them. Her hater count has gone down a bit as people have grown to love her and her saltiest.

Yui Yokoyama is somebody who became a star right after she was promoted in October 2010. Becoming one of the big members of Akimoto Team K. She showed that she was ready for this and could able to stay with the awesomeness of Team K.

The Underrated Haruka Shimada has shown how much of a hard worker she is and should have been named the new Team K captain (Shimada Team K needs to happen before she's graduates). Her time will also come and will be ranked.

Mina Oba's career in AKB48 had been some what of a rocky road. She was the captain of Team 4. But ended up getting suspended for underage drinking along time ago. Returned from Supsenion in January 4, 2012. Her career became ALOT better when she was moved SKE48. She is a full time SKE48 Senbatsu member and it's been working out for her.

    3) NMB48 1st Gen (225 Pts)
#3 is the generation that started it all for NMB48. It's NMB48's 1st Generation.

Announced in October 2010. The 2nd Sister Group (3rd Group Overall) was born. NMB48 (NAMBA48). The 26 Member 1st Generation: (Hara Mizuki, Hikawa Ayame, Ota Riona, Okita Ayaka, Ogasawara Mayu, Kadowaki Kanako, Kishino Rika, Kinoshita Haruna, Kotani Riho, Kondo Rina, Kawakami Rena, Kinoshita Momoka, Koyanagi Arisa, Shinohara Kanna, Jonishi Kei, Shiroma Miru, Fukumoto Aina, Matsuda Shiori, Mori Ayaka, Yamaguchi Yuki, Yamada Nana, Yamamoto Sayaka, Yamagishi Natsumi, Yamauchi Ayaka, Yoshida Akari, Watanabe Miyuki) became the first generation of NMB48.

Girls like Nana Yamada, Miru Shiroma, Riho Kotani, Kei Jonishi, Mayu Ogaswara, Miyuki Watanabe, and that girl known as Sayaka Yamamoto.

Sayaka Yamamoto became the most well known member of NMB48. Centering the first 9 singles of NMB48. There is a reason why she's the Ace of NMB48. She's also the most talented member of NMB48. Also making waves in AKB48 as well

Miyuki Watanabe is the #2 of NMB48. Also centering some songs. She hasn't been in all of the senbatsu for NMB48. Like Sayanee. She is also making waves in AKB48. Has had a few bumps in the road. But she has been doing fine.

Miru Shiroma's another member who is one of the people that makes NMB48 what it is. Her efforts have been rewarded as she is the center for the first time in an NMB48 single (along with Fuuko Yagura). Like I Said. Good things come to those who wait. Your efforts will be rewarded.

    2) AKB48 1st Gen (351 Pts)
Coming in #2 is the generation that if it wasn't for them, AKB48 and the AKB48G would not be here. It's AKB48 1st Generation.

Announced in October 2005. The future of Idols began as the auditions for the AKB48 1st Generation began. Some of the well known members are Girls like: Tomochin, MaiMai, Kojiharu, Yukari Sato, Rina Nakanishi, Mariko Shinoda, Minami Minegishi, Minami Takahashi, and that one girl. That girl that helped made AKB48 what it is today. Ever heard of a girl named Atsuko Maeda? lol.

Atsuko Maeda is somebody who put AKB48 on her back and without her. AKB48 would not be where it is today. She is one of the most talented members, Her singing is good, her dancing is good, and YES her acting is good (don't know why she gets hate for that). Acchan was one of a kind and you will NEVER EVER find somebody to replace her or find the new her. Acchan is the only Acchan in this world.

Minami Takahashi is a girl who like Takamina, put AKB48 on her back and has been for almost 10 years. Centering the very first AKB48 single in February of 2006. She and along with Acchan. Became the pillars of AKB48. It felt weird when Acchan graduated, it's REALLY going to feel weird when Takamina graduates. Also when Takamina does graduate. Acchan BETTER be in her Graduation Video.

Mariko Shinoda is a HUGE troll. But that's why we love Mariko. She's the loveable big sis troll and it's what made her as a member of AKB48. Techinally a 1.5 member. She is somebody else that showed that you should never give up. She was able to join (after not making the original audition) and made it January 2006 after a private audition. Made her debut in June 2006 in Skirt Hirari (as one of the dancers in the background) and the rest was history.

Minami Minegishi is another one of the most popular and well know members of AKB48. One of the last 3 1st Gens. She has been in Team A, Team K, Team B, Team 4, and a Kenkyuusei. I think you know the story by now with her and her scandal. But she showed that she is a fighter.

Tomomi Itano is the best dancer of the generation. She has done alot of growing as when she debuted. You could tell she looked like a kid, but as she grew. She grew more into the woman she is today. One of the most popular members of all time. There is a reason why she is one of the legends of AKB48.

Haruna Kojima is the member of the 1st generation with the sexiest body. But she has also shown how talented she is. Good Singer, Good Dancer, Acts good, also has a little of a cute dingbat role on AKBINGO. Probaly the next 1st Gen member to graduate. She is one of the oldest members of AKB48 and pretty close to be one of the tallest as well.

HERE WE ARE. #1. Recap is up above you.

    1) AKB48 2nd Gen (362 Pts)
At #1 is pretty much. The Most Talented Generation and Most Popular Generation of all time. It's AKB48 2nd Generation.

Announced in February 2006. After the 1st Generation debut. You have to keep going with adding more members to your group. Bring in the Original Team K. Talented Member after Talented Member. You name it. From Girls like: Sayaka Akimoto, Ayaka Umeda, Megumi Ohori, Manami Oku, Erena Ono, Tomomi Kasai, Kana Kobayashi, Noro Kayo, Yuka Masuda, Natsumi Matsubara, Sae Miyazawa, and the Dork herself Yuko Oshima.

Yuko Oshima became the most popular member from the original Team K. She would be the reason for AKB48 Team K's sucess. She spented all of her 8 years in Team K and it would have been stupid for her to move anywhere else. She showed that she was a good rival to Acchan and pretty much was one of the most nicest people in AKB48. A Cute Smile as well.

Sae Miyazawa is known as Genking and rightfully so. As She is one of the friendliest people in the world. Also is energetic as well. Along with Mayuyu. She can pull off the Danso/Ikemen look. Close with members Akimoto, Yuko, Yukirin, Mariya Suzuki, Rie, Yui. She has shown why she is one of the most popular members of AKB48 and now SKE48.

Yuka Masuda, Ayaka Umeda, and Sakaka Akimoto = The Most Underrated Members of all time. You for sure have to agree. All 3 of them are the best singers as well. Akimoto showed why she is one hell of a leader. The Akimoto Legacy is shown in the 48Groups. Umechan shows she can sing and lead (Becoming Team B leader in 2012). Yuka Masuda was pretty much the best singer out of everybody in Team K and AKB48G.

Tomomi Kasai was another one of the talented members of AKB48. From 2006-2008 she was one of the top 3 members of akb48. Even have a good spot in the beginning singles. Best friends with Tomomi Itano (TomoTomo) they become a good duo. Even appearing in 10 episodes of Kamen Rider W and 3 movies assoicated with Kamen Rider W (Best Season ever btw). She even worked in Team B as she was pretty much a good senior figure (along with Yuka Masuda)
Well that's our countdown. Had a feeling it would come down to those two generation and rightfully so. These are the two generations that shaped the way AKB48 is today.

    Anyways. Onto our next topic.

Songs from all of the the 48/46 Groups. These are songs from September 1st to December 20th. Remember, there are 8 years worth of songs. Singles, Coupling Songs, Solo Songs, Sub Unit Songs. If they came out in September, October, November, and December. They are eligbile.

    Voting Begins Now
    Voting Ends on October 19th.

:) and I'll be honest. I was EXTREMELY Tired while typing it. Some might have little errors (While I do feel she is one of the most popular members of HKT48), there are alot more members who are more popular then her.

Yes. Was planning to have it where only solo singles from their time in AKB48G. But there really isn't a solo song in their time (Acchan and Tomochin for example.)
