I don't mind :). Was hoping you were going to yell Shenanigans! when I revealed the results lol (like Kyle did an episode of South Park). But oh well lol.

Done and that is a good one (Best Lyrics) to use. I think we will have that in the future. Also put that in the topics for parts of a song that aren't your family friendly lyrics. Why it's called Dark Lyricals songs (won't care if some people call it Dark Lyrics if they want)

Unless they weren't from the DSM. They will be counted toward the DSM event (Just the first move from that event they put). Won't count the 2nd one.

    STAGE48 Countdown
Episode 17: Biggest Moments of 2014

Welcome everybody. I'm Forrest Fuller, and this is Episode 17 of Stage48 Countdown. Today is our last episode of 2014 and this episode is the biggest moments of 2014 from the 48Groups.

2014 was another big year. Some good moments, Some bad moments, and a moment that you want to NEVER EVER want to see happen again. These are the biggest moments of 2014. As usual, the first thing we will take care of is the Honorable Mentions. Here they are.

    Honorable Mentions
    11) AKB48 38th Single Senbatsu Announcement (48 Points)
    12) Sayuri Matsumura Scandal (47 Points)
    13) Miku Tanabe Ranks in the SSK for the 1st Time Ever (38 Points)
    14) Minami Takahashi Mechaike Dokkiri (29 Points)
    15) Yuihan's Announced as Next Soukantoku (28 Points)

Well, time to get to the countdown. First Up.

    10) Team 8 Debuts (62 Points)
First up is the new team debut. Team 8.

At first it was announced during the 2014 Request Hour in January as it would be a group filled with 47 members. Yes, 47 members. Something you have never seen before and something you will never see again. How it went was.

One person from each prefecture in Japan will be chosen as a member through an audition to join Team 8. Pretty
interesting right. The Girls were revealed on April 3rd.

Abe Mei, Iwasaki Moeka, Okabe Rin, Okubora Chinatsu, Oguri Yui,Ota Nao, Oda Erina, Onishi Momoka, Kita Reina,Gyouten Yurina, Kuranoo Narumi, Kondo Moeri,Sakaguchi Nagisa, Sato Akari, Sato Shiori, Sato Nanami, Shitao Miu, Shimizu Maria, Shimoaoki Karin, Takaoka Kaoru, Takahashi Ayane, Tani Yuri, Tanikawa Hijiri, Chou Kurena, Nakano Ikumi, Nagano Serika, Hashimoto Haruna, Hama Sayuna, Hamamatsu Riona, Hayasaka Tsumugi,Hitomi Kotone, Hidaritomo Ayaka, Hirose Natsuki,Fukuchi Rena, Fujimura Natsuki, Honda Hitomi, Miyazato Rira, Mogi Kasumi, Moriwaki Yui, Yaguchi Moka, Yamada Nanami, Yamamoto Ai, Yamamoto Ruka,Yokomichi Yuri, Yokoyama Yui, Yoshikawa Nanase, Yoshino Miyu

They made the debuts on stage during the Concerts at Ajinmoto Stadium and we all in the Election for this year. Of course none of them were ranked (as expect). But for some, nothing wrong with having the experience of being in something like that.

In my opinion that next year. At least one of them will be ranked next year (Ikumin) and will be shocked if she isn't. But anyways, on June 18th were had our first member of Team 8 graduate, even before they made their debut at the theater.

Chinatsu Okubora of the Gifu Prefecture Graduated and was replaced by Yuna Hattori (same prefecture by the way). The Girls made their theater debut on August 5th and it wasn't just in the AKB48 theater. It was also at the SKE48 Theater and HKT48 Theater.

I love Team 8 and was so glad that they were made. Hopefully Team 8 remains and they also make it like a real team to where we have Captains and Vice Captains.

    9) SKE48, NMB48, HKT48 have Different Centers for their latest singles (63 Points)
Coming in at the #9 spot is something you didn't see. HKT48 4th Single, SKE48 16th, and NMB48 10th Singles didnt have the same people as the centers for the singles.

Meru and Mio are your Centers for HKT48, Sayaka Yamamoto is the center for NMB48, and Jurina Matsui/Rena Matsui were the centers for SKE48. All of them were NOT the center for their groups latest singles. Pretty surprising.

Meru and Mio have centered the first 3 singles for HKT48. Meru Tashima being the first one to center an HKT48 Single as she was doing it solo while Meru and Mio centered the next two singles. Coming up for the 4th single of HKT48.

The Center of Hikaeme, I love you was not Meru Tashima or Mio Tomonaga. It was in fact the original center of HKT48 Haruka Kodama. She was back on top of HKT48 as she was the center of the group's 4th single. Welcome back Haruppi.

With NMB48. The First 9 (10 if you count Ibiza Girl) have always been centered by Sayaka Yamamoto (sometimes with Miyuki and one time Nana Yamada. But coming into the 10th Single. It was neither of them. It was in fact two members of Team M.

Miru Shiroma and Fuuko Yagura were the centers for the song Rashikunai. Something you didn't think you would see. You would think Sayanee would be centering NMB48 songs until she graduated. But nope.

Now I think we can say the most shocking one was SKE48. Jurina has centered the first 15 singles of SKE48 (sometimes with Rena Matsui) and you would think she would continue to do so. But hell had frozen over and Jurina was NOT the center for a single.

Yes, I know I can't believe it as well. The Girls who centered SKE48 16th Single of 12-Gatsu no Kangaroo were Ryoha Kitagawa and Ami Miyamae. Two girls who are the future of SKE48. Here is hoping they get another chance to center a single.

    8) Miyuki Watanabe Wins Janken Tournament (71 Points)
Coming in the 8th Spot is Miyuki Watanabe winning the Janken Tournament from September.

2014 hasn't been a kind year for Miyuki Watanabe. She ended having a alleged scandal (which I'm not really
believing, will explain more) and she ended up dropping from being in AKB48 Senbatsu in the election to out of AKB48 Senbatsu and in the Undergirls.

Hated that fact. But she didn't let it get to her as she continued on. Fast Forward to September and the 5th Annual Janken Tournament. The Janken Tournament of this wasn't for centering a single, but rather a solo debut or a solo song/concert (for girls like Mayuyu, Takamina, Yukirin).

Giving the fact that Miyuki wasn't in AKB48. Her automatic bid was gone and now she had to qualify via Prelims. She did just that (even by telephone, don't know how lol). But she ended up making it in. Miyuki's Janken costume was pretty sexy as well.

Hot right. She was able to win the whole thing this year as she beat Haruna Kojima in the finals. We would get a Miyuki Solo Debut. Which her solo song debuted on Christmas Eve (pretty good song by the way). While the first part of 2014 for Miyuki wasn't great. The 2nd part of 2014 was very kind to my NMB48 Oshi.
    7) 2nd Day of National Olympic Stadium Concert Canceled (77 Points)
At the 7th Spot is one of the heartbreaking moments of this year. The 2nd Day of National Stadium Concert canceled due to weather.

March 29th was the 1st day of the National Olympic Stadium concert. It was an awesome site with it being an awesome place to play at. Were originally going to be the first girl group to perform there (but Momoiro Clover Z) beat them to it and performed there
    earlier in March.

But on March 29th and March 30th were going to be the last time we would see Yuko Oshima performing as a member of AKB48. The 1st Day of the National Olympic Stadium Concert was something else as you had pretty awesome things and songs that the girls performed there hearts out.

Over 50 Songs were performed during the concert (55 if you count the Encore songs). It was something, The 1st Day of the concert was AKB48 only as you didn't see some of the others girls you are used to normally seeing until they released the senbatsu for the 36th Single.

I know watching that performance for the first time, while you say Yuko happy for the girls, she did look kind of down (Coming to the realization that you weren't going to be in anymore AKB48 Singles). But of course Yuko Oshima was happy for the ones in that song and of course the center.

Fast Forward to day 2 and mother nature didn't want Yuko Oshima not to graduate yet as rain, storms, and winds reared it's ugly head. It was just so damn heartbreak as we were going to say goodbye to one of the most awesome members of AKB48 in Yuko Oshima.

Was heartbreaking to see her crying because of the weather and when you saw her in front the people (while the rain had stopped, but it was still windy as hell) letting people know. All in all, it was so heartbreaking to see. As Yuko was another one of my favorite members (was my #2 btw). But she was able to get that graduation she deserved.

    6) Miyuki's alleged Scandal and drops to the Undergirls at SSK (80 Points)
The 6th Spot goes to the bad part of 2014 for my NMB48 Oshi. Miyuki Watanabe.

As I said before, 2014 has been an up and down year for Miyuki. In March those pricks that like to ruin lives ran a story about Miyuki spending the night with some model. With the pictures coming out and it was more WTF as all you never saw her and the model together at all.

All you saw was just them at around the same place at around different times. No freaking proof that they were ever together. What I hated more was that this model was on twitter bragging how he slept with her and has done so with a bunch of idols.

That's what made me believe this whole scandal was all BS as I'm sure that the only person that this idiot model slept with was his hand. But fast forwarding to June and the SSK event. When the undergirls for the 37th Single were announced.

You were happy to see of the girls who moved up and or debuted in the undergirls. But at the 18th Spot was somebody who shouldn't have been there (she should have been in Senbatsu) Miyuki Watanabe. Miyuki Watanabe and everybody else was shock to see her there.

I was one of them and was pissed. How could some people have turned on her? What the hell was going on with them? I even said on twitter.

"To the people who turned on Miyuki, Please Go Fuck yourself!"

I know saying that word isn't right on here. But I wanted to show what I really said as I didn't censor myself there (nobody does on twitter). But next year, better be different. Miyuki Watanabe better be in sebatsu once again. I know Miichan hasn't made it back since her scandal either. So it won't be easy.

Here's to Miyuki Watanabe in AKB48 Senbtasu for SSK2015.
    5) Mayu wins SSK (158 Points)
At the 5 spot is the crowning moment for my oshi. It's her win at SSK.

Going into the 6th Senbatsu Election. Everybody would think it would be an easy road for Sashihara, a girl who was unstoppable. Nobody thought Sasshi would win last year against Mayuyu and Yuko Oshima. But she did with her huge momentum.

Her Momentum was still riding high going into this years election. Even the first day totals proved that her momentum was still there as she had a commanding lead. But Mayuyu oshis didn't give up and were going to get their girl to the top.

Fast Forward to the Day of the Election. As the Senbatsu was being named. You heard girls like Suda at #10, Takamina at #9, Kojiharu trolling us at #8, Paruru at #7, Sayaka at #6, Rena Matsui at #5, Jurina taking the 4th Spot after she was 3rd in the Prelims.

We have now gotten to the top 3 and #3 was AKB48 Team B...and NMB48 Team N Kennin Yuki Kashiwagi. It made people wonder for a minute until NMB48 Team N was announced and Yukirin was #3. The Top 2 showed up. It was going to be for the first time ever. A Two Time winner in Sasshi, or Mayuyu.

#2 was in fact... Sashihara as everybody was like *jaw drops*. I will never forget my reaction. I had to take off the headphones and ended up checking twitter because I was so nervous. But when I say Sasshi. I was so happy that Mayuyu had finally got her dream.

I know Takamina was happy crying because she had seen Mayuyu become #1 and Yuko was glad for her fellow oshiri sister. Loved the part at the end as well. So what if it was staged. Staged as well for Yuko's win in 2012. But anyways.

That moment was like a passing of the torch. Like in 2012 and I think it will be for when Mayuyu graduates. Whom ever wins the election when the year Mayuyu Graduates. I think Sakura.

    4) Yuko's Graduation (179 Points)

At the #4 Spot was the actual Yuko Graduation at Ajinmoto Stadium.

    As I said
earlier. The 2nd Day of National Olympic Stadium was canceled to due to the weather and it was made up here. It was the day after the election. As it was still raining from the day before (not as bad as it was on March 30th).

But it was good enough for the concert, and man was it beautiful. It was the right way and something that would have happened on March 30th. The Concert was very fitting for the Ace of the 2nd Generation and one of the people's most favorite and respected members.

Not even in the light rain could stop this. The Concert also featured appearances from the rest of 2nd generation (Minus Ono and Oku) for the graduation song and Sasae (which is the Ori Team K/2nd Generation Anthem). Also featured the LONGEST GOODBYE EVER! Which featured all members of AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, HKT48 and even te Graduates.

I know they weren't able to finish it all because of time. The Day later was her theater graduation which was nothing short of beautiful. Featuring all of her good friends from the AKB48G Members plus some of the 2nd Gen again.

Sucks that Akimoto wasn't able to make it there but she did for the stadium one at least. Yuko looked so beautiful in her graduation dress and we got to say goodbye to one of our favorites as will never forget her. Loved how she joked when even taking down her picture.

    So Long Yuko Oshima!

    3) Takamina's Graduation Annoucement (196 Points)
The #3 ranked moment in 2014 was the beginning of an end of an era within AKB48.

Minami Takahashi is the GM of AKB48G and has been since 2012. Pretty much she was for throughout her time in AKB48. But in 2012 it became official. Takamina pretty much became a staff member (the first member of a group to do just that).

Fast Forward to 2014 as she has been the GM for 2 years and has done just awesome. It's December 8th of this year. The AKB48 9th Anniversary and we have this moment.

if the video does not show watch the video here

Even though it was something that was going to happen in 2015. It was shocking to know that she announced it now. But I think it was at the right time as it will groom Yui Yokoyama as the next GM (which was announced as well btw.)

But the 10th Anniversary of AKB48 will be just as a special as it will also be the end of the era and you know what . This moment will be the end of the 1st chapter of AKB48.

The New Center (Mayu) and The New GM (Yui) will lead AKB48 into the real chapter 2 of the group.

    2) Dai Soukaku Matsuri (245 Points)
Coming in at the 2nd Spot is the Grand Shuffle of this year.

The Grand Shuffle of this year was in February not just the members of AKB48 would be on new teams. But the members of AKB48 Team A, Team K, Team B, Team 4, SKE48 Team S, Team KII, Team E, NMB48 Team N, Team M, Team B2, HKT48 Team H and Team KIV.

HKT48 was not really much of a shuffle as they had their shuffle in January with the first Team KIV being announced. Here were the whole results of the lineup.

    Staff
    • AKB48 Group General Manager: Kayano Shinobu
    • Head of AKB48 Customer Center: Togasaki Tomonobu
    • AKB48 Theater Manager: Yuasa Hiroshi

The #1 Spot is coming up. The Recap is above you.

    1) Iwate Indicent (338 Points)
The #1 biggest moment in 2014 is the one moment that I and EVERYBODY never want to see again.

On May 25th. A Day that was not just big in the 48Groups. But in idol and music history. The asswipe who will NOT be named attacked a staff member, fans and Anna Iriyama and Rina Kawaei. Every time I think about this moment I think i'm glad he got what he has coming too.

Why in the hell would anybody do this two
innocent girls, an innocent staff members, and the innocent fans that were in line to see there favorites. Just pisses me off. But he will spending the rest of his life in jail and I hope has a miserable life there.

Anyways. Was glad to see Ricchan make an appearance at the Senbatsu Souenskyo. While annin at least made an appearance via telephone. Ricchan returned in August while Annin slowly made her return around September. I'm sure that the staff member and the fans are doing better now as well.

This also proved that they are fighters and weren't going let some prick ruin their lives. Why you should still support these girls no matter what (wether they are your oshi or not.)
    -----
Anyways. This has been the last episode of 2014. For Forrest Fuller, this has been Stage48 Countdown. Peace!

Will continue to work on the write ups. But want to begin our first topic for 2015. As voted on by you guys. But first up, I am going to announce the final week of the U Pick Month. This will be the topic for the last week of January. So here we go.

    1.Best AKB48 Coupling Songs (185 Points)
    2.Best Team Songs (110 Points)
3.Best Majisuka Gakuen Characters (110 Points)

Don't forget that 2nd Place and 3rd Place will be topics in March (in consecutive weeks actually). Anyways, here are the topics that you won't see for the rest of this season.

    Best Arms (-40 Points)
    Best Stomach (-75 Points)
    Best Boobs (-165 Points)

Well time to began voting on the first topic of 2015.

    Best Music Videos
These are the best music videos from the 48Groups. All of the groups (AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, Nogizaka46, JKT48, SNH48, and SDN48), plus any sub units and solo songs. Pretty much if it has a music video. It's eligible. Anyways, these are the music videos that are the best.

    Voting Begins Now
Voting Ends on January 4th, 2015
