Stage48 Countdown (Episode 148: Best AKB48 Team 4 Songs)
Welcome everybody to Episode 148 of Stage48 Countdown, I'm Forrest Fuller. On Today's Episode, we will be counting down the 10 Best AKB48 Team 4 Songs. Before we began, let's look at the one Honorable Mention that didn't make the countdown, here It Is.

Hashire! Penguin (#1) and Seijun Philosophy (#2) take the top spot.

Pretty much as expected as they are the two most famous Team 4 Songs. Hashire! Penguin features the Original Team 4, while Seijun Philosphy feature the new Team 4 that was only a couple of months old. Hashire! Penguin was apart of AKB48's 24th Single and features the girls in penguin outfit, which is pretty much now, one of the most famous costumes in the history of the 48 and even Sakamichi Groups. It's weird that this was originally going to be the 24th Single, but they changed it to Ue Kara Mariko so that it would fit Mariko's image (Even though we all know Shinoda would have so much fun wearing the penguin outfit).

Seijun Philosophy was Team 4's song from AKB48's 33rd Single and featured the New Team 4 (which was formed back in August of that year). We had new girls known as the Three Muskeeters (Kojima Mako, Okada Nana, Nishino Miki), and also featured Minegishi Minami (who was demoted to KKS eariler that year and was promoted again in August as the Captain of this group). Miichan pretty much became the mother of that Team 4. With this group and three muskeeters, we got a song that showed that these girls (and team) are here and ready to be the future of this group.
