A few years ago me and @sscrla were debating what to do with their nicknames since some were stupid our outdated. We went with the official nicknames but at the time there was no difference between both sites.

I've noticed this myself so I generally delete the question mark when inputting the links.

Right, sometimes the site has weird things like this that simply stick around because it's been there for years. I try to remove/fix them if I notice it

For the intro sentence; 'Team 8 is AKB48 5th Team, and a special promotional "Idols that meet you" Team for Toyota. Currently (June 2017) the Team has 45 members.', I think this should be changed completely, the information is outdated and also 'AKB48 5th Team' doesn't really mean anything. So I tried to write a sentence of introduction, you can use this one if you want (or change some things, or make your own sentence if you have better). The sentence that I made: 'Team 8 is a team of AKB48 that was initially a project in collaboration with Toyota (from 2014 to 2021). Their concept is "idols who go meet you" and each member of the team comes from one of the 47 prefectures of Japan. As of October 2021, the team has 34 members.' I thought about writing the part about each member being from the 47 prefectures in the past (because right now they don't seem like they're going to go back to 47 members?), but I guess we can still write it like this for now ^^

Some little things to fix on the same page:

2015 January 26; it's written 'Moriwaki Yui graduateed', please remove the extra 'e'.
2017 December 8; at first, there's a full list of Team 8 members that has no purpose, that list can be removed. The info should start with 'Okabe Rin' etc. with all the concurrent positions listed. There's another line in the middle that needs to be removed because it's not about Team 8: 'Asai Nanami, Inagaki Kaori, Taya Misaki and Yamauchi Mizuki promoted'

- This is really a detail but for the Team B list, Ota Nao and Okuhara Hinako are written in different orders in these 2 pages (they are the only names written in different order, the others have the same order), I'm not sure how they're listed (it's not alphabetical order so I guess it's based on their japanese names?) is it possible to fix so it's the same on both pages ^^

It kind of made me rethink the Trivia section, specifically whether or not members' official profile stuff (Hobbies, favorite member, favorite phrase) fit in with the rest of the trivia entries. I feel like there's a bit of a disconnect? But actually, it might just be me being weird XD Also, I already see some trivias that would fit better in the History sections than in the Trivia sections

I mean, since these are factors that are subject to change I don't think there's anything wrong with putting them in Trivia. Plus, there's hundreds of pages with this format so...

I quickly checked this, but her STU kennin is still not over is it? Her profile is still on the website, and from what I've seen it's still there on the other wiki sites. I put that she announced the cancellation of the kennin, but I don't think it's officially over yet (and I adjusted her page as such as well.)

It was for the 2016 drama, not the anime movie if that's what you were thinking? I did add the official drama website though.

Not sure if it's the case here, but one thing to keep in mind is that birthplace and hometown are not the same thing. 出身地 is actually the latter, cf. the intro to Okada Nana's page on 48pedia.

Of course since Yokohama is in Kanagawa that doesn't matter much here. Various info sites do say Yokohama, so I don't think this needs to be taken out, though maybe it would be better to consult an expert...

 

In this case, I'll keep Yokohama for in for now.

I noticed in the Hinatazaka46 tour page you wrote Morimoto Mari as "Marie" and I was wondering... is this the correct way to write her name? Cause I've noticed on official merch, it's written as Marie as well. Edit: Just saw @heatsignature's post, strictly speaking her small い is -ii but she wanted to be called -ie as her parents' intent was to be more Western sounding (from some HinaAi episode). Officially though, her name is spelt Marie everywhere from overture to her towel.

 

Ok, that's what I thought. She wasn't the only Kenshusei with the incorrect spelling so I just wanted to fix that before we continued to update the wiki with the wrong spelling (rip at all the Yoda "Yuki" links on the wiki lol).

I've updated everything else, with some help from wikipedia. Let me know if there's anything else that needs to be added or fixed.
