About Hiragana Oshi..
I finished subbing the 1st ep
But I can't say I'll do it on timely manner or even the other episode..
And I knew about GEES doing it after halfway through it, so I figure I'll just finish it anyway.
Can't say much about the quality, thought I'm confident I'm better than I was years ago...at least for a bit. xD

Btw, I don't get why Wakabayashi's saying "let's start from the beginning" when Kage said that her favorite book is Meitantei Conan...

 

For that part, Wakabayashi-san asked Kageyama what book does she like, yet Kageyama answer it with a manga title, which is, not a good answer. So he (might) make jokes "repeat again" and want a proper answer from her. that's what I thought

 

Ah I see.. It's like someone-ask-you-what-book-do-you-read-and-you-answer-"comic book" kind of thing?

 

kind of. If i put it into other theme maybe goes like "do you like hot coffee?" "I like ice tea"

Yeah, it's Dsubs that mentioned that they may be able to do it, not GEES. I hope they really can since from the looks of the pilot, it seems like it will be a lot of fun! Hiragana-chans are the Yang (light/positive/fun) to the Kanji's Yin (dark/negative/cool) lol

Excellent sub. You're right you could work on format, but it's not easy with the two hosts talking over one another and over the members at the start. I'm not sure there's a solution other than what you did. For a two-person Showroom I tried justifying one voice left and one voice right, but that's not a great solution, either. In any case, really nice sub. Lots of nuance. Thanks!

 

@spacelion, thanks a lot for your subs. I have been dilligently praying for someone to sub it and here you are with your amazing subs.

It's Tahoma Bold with some border (and shadow? I guess).
I got it(shamelessly stole? haha I forgot I asked or not) from LonelyAvocado.. She's the one who subbed early HKT Odekake!
We worked together on this one episode of AntaDare back in 2014... It's been 4 years

Btw, looks like I won't sub further episode of Hiragana Oshi in the near future.
And I said I was thinking to sub ep2 when it comes out sry
