NOGIBINGO!10 EP 01 is out @BEAM!subs. Hopefully this season turns out to be as good as NOGIBINGO!9 was.

 

Well, seems to be a season full of outdoor episodes so it depends on what each center girl wants to do. I hope some of them come up with things that are not only fun to do but also fun to watch.

 

My thoughts exactly. Though, I'm okay with just seeing the members laughing and smiling and just having a good time all around.

I've been watching Doko from the beginning for the past couple of weeks.

Those old senbatsu announcements were weird.

I'm watching the 5th single announcement right now and I feel like I'm watching candidates being selected for a double-blind psychological research study.

 

I think those senbatsu announcements are essential viewing. Most of the time its horrifying especially the early ones where they did not know what was going to happen as well as the later ones where they were resigned to their fate.

 

I dont know which things you think its weird. If it's about their reaction, i dont think it's weird. Those early day they have a big pressure as an AKB rival. Maybe that's why we see their reaction like overreact. I think nowadays they become more relaxed because beside they're more mature also they didn't feel the pressure anymore..

 

@sambelteri12 I think some of the early senbatsu announcements were gimmicky. Like the first one with the cell phones, the second one with the member announcing the next chosen on, or as @Navicon46 mentioned, the fifth one with the self selection. Just weird to watch knowing how they've been announced the last few times.

 

If it's the case, it could be right. At the time Nogi needs to gain some attention since AKB is to high to reach atm

 

It has nothing to do with their reactions.

The 5th one has them all sitting in a room as an unseen person silently calls each member into a second room where they open a sealed envelope and read their fate. Either a number signifying their place as one of the chosen few or ... nothing. In the original room is a giant digital number which counts down like a doomsday clock as each member disappears into the other room, while the left behind members faces become more and more sullen and dejected as the number moves closer and closer to zero.

 

Perhaps it's like what @Generic_User said, a gimmick..

 

Would be a horrible gimmick, to be honest. I mean all members want to be part of the Senbatsu, so it's not like their tears and frustration were scripted.
Yes, it's suspenseful but personally I didn't enjoy it.
