Yuuka was this week's Sakamichi guest on Yoshimotozaka46 ga Ureru Made. For the guest corner, she walked on one of those "massage" mats, the ones with the varying "rock" sizes. The hosts tried first and were in much pain, while Yuuka had no problem with it, and in fact said that she'd be able to dance while standing on one. She did a little bit of SaiMajo before the little segment ended.

 

Yuuka seems really hurt with Nijika's sudden graduation. Her recent blog says it all.

The base color of Yuuka's kimono is purple, which in the past that color was reserved for royalty.

 

In Japan? Interesting

 

Going back to the Nara period, purple was used only by the royalty and high ranking court officials* (top ranks of the 12 rank system), in part due to the cost of the dye itself. Interestingly, they did not imported the Chinese practice of reserving yellow/gold for the Emperor, but yellow is considered a good colour as in China.
